for sure. As somebody who loves taking in every detail of character designs, the highly detailed Bancho Golemon being pixelated is a shameIts only me who see the cards a bit blurry?
Yeah it's Infinity Mountain background of DW1 BanchoGolemon is in.I had only recently realized that Bancho Golemmon'a card background is Infinity Mountain, a reference to its reference book profile and both its profile and art are a reference to Digimon World 1 I think! (I dunno, haven't played it)
I really like WarGrowlmon's background, does anybody know if that's a reference?
Yeah thought about it too. Icemon doesn't make any appearance yet in the Cards. The Gottsumon line is missing Icemon.
It's because they were using LoaderLiomon for Bearmon -> Grizzlymon from Tri/ReariseYeah thought about it too. Icemon doesn't make any appearance yet in the Cards. The Gottsumon line is missing Icemon.
Digimon like Liamon and LoaderLiomon have appeared in previous Boster.
Edit: rechecked the cards, Liamon is yellow while LoaderLiomon is blue.
You're right. Let's wait for another LoaderLiomon then. A yellow one. Also, HeavyLeomon. It's because they were using LoaderLiomon for Bearmon -> Grizzlymon from Tri/Rearise
Quite literally Blimpmon, it's an old Digimon that showed up in Hyper Colosseum and not much else.I have no idea who the zeppelin Digimon is though. Looks like Galgomon possessed a zeppeling.
Blikmon/Tinmon is in the background of ToyAgumon's 2020 card so he technically has artWhat an amazing set list. It's a delight to see the original Kudamon again. I specifically remember when red Otamamon's original card was first revealed, posting way back on Megchan's forums, so it's always been a fun one for me because of how unnecessary it felt. Similarly, Blimpmon has always been very near and dear to me because it's alway struck me as perhaps the most obscure Digimon that was ever "100% recognized as official" (as opposed to, say, Blikmon or the "other" Golemon or Batterymon or whatever where they never even got an official piece of art). Seems like a somewhat arbitrary distinction but it makes sense in my mind, at least.
Red Otamamon > Fugamon > Vermillimon is a very fun presumed line. I have such a soft spot for recolors and love having them further legitimized.
It existed to pad out Digital Card Arena's Red Child levels without needing to break the bank on animations, since they could reuse the model. Similarly to how a lot of recolors are in World specifically to pad out enemy numbers without getting new models, because of course the game that couldn't afford more than one pose or any animation for Vamdemon and which couldn't even squeeze in Weregarurumon in time couldn't afford to focus on that shit.it's always been a fun one for me because of how unnecessary it felt.
He finally made it. What a true miracle, it was.Blikmon/Tinmon is in the background of ToyAgumon's 2020 card so he technically has art
Wet skin - Dried muscle skin - hardened skin armor evo? That's nice.Red Otamamon > Fugamon > Vermillimon is a very fun presumed line. I have such a soft spot for recolors and love having them further legitimized.
Imperialdramon Black entered the DRB after getting new card. So let's hope for Otamamon and Vermillimon to follow the black dragon.Wet skin - Dried muscle skin - hardened skin armor evo? Miracle? Indeed. But that is not even official artwork you know? Not until if he actually get the profile and art. Then that is truly... A miracle.
And the art they gave it is just the old art with an actual attack being fired, which is sad. Would have almost preferred a neutral pose for it.Imperialdramon Black entered the DRB after getting new card.
Wait, Plutomon isn't? Vermillimon I get (World 1 Recolors are hit-and-miss as to whether they're in or not), but Plutomon's part of the Olympus Twelve, you'd think it would be in quickly.Plutomon and Vermillimon aren't from this set
