Digimon Card Battle is back with episode 93.

​

The Digimon Card Game 'Super Tamer Battle' is almost here.

With it almost here, they're continuing the multi-part special...

The idea here is, there are 4 current types of decks that show up the most in Japan at events, etc. and the Card Battle crew is making their top decks to give you ideas how to take them on.





The matches includes cards up through Booster Set EX-03.

The match is Chiba vs. Kakeru.





Also after the match we get our card previews for Booster Set 11 Dimensional Phase during the post match housekeeping (going over products, etc.)

The previews are tamer card Rina & ULForceV-dramon! It continues the run of V-mon family cards with Rina yesterday. Rina had her profile art on a previous card, she gets some very nice cartoony art that feels like it takes a bit of inspiration from Suzuhito art from an artbook. ULForceV-dramon features Rina, WarGreymon, and Taiga standing side by side getting ready for action.

Shortly after the episode better quality versions (with sample text) was put up by the Digimon Card Twitter (2). Both versions are included above.

And I hope Sasasi also draws all the Redigitize Ultimates parallels so we probably can see their Decode alternate Ultimates as cameo.

I know, much hints at that. Especially considering we are still missing a SR, which now has a high chance of ending up a green mega. But I really dislike tamers repeating the same partner much when WarGreymon should belong with anime Taichi, so Taiga being heavily linked with RustTyrannomon in the card game always felt like the right way to go in my opinion.

You say this like it doesn't go hand in hand with my comment of me disliking the re-use of partner digimon. I never said I'm a big fan of Digitorin and Sashenka copying the lines of Savers Gaomon and Adventure Biyomon 1to1. RustTyrannomon is different in that there is legit back up for it being Taiga's potential partner, which is why I focus on him in this discussion.

Mirei and Angewomon I'm ok with though, because Mirei does do something in her own way when compared to Kari & Gatomon as in Angewomon is set to jogress into Mastemon, which is a form Kari's Angewomon never reached. Much like how I would prefer for Taiga's Agumon to go down the Tyrannomon path instead.
