If that's how each name is spelled in-game, then...

Vajramon is spelled here as "Varjamon".

SaintGalgomon, who was renamed MegaGargomon before, is renamed "SaintGargomon".

WereGarurumon's G is lowercased as "Weregarurumon".

Hououmon, known in Bandai of America media as "Phoenixmon", is "Hououmon".

Thunderbirmon finally joins his Bio-Hybrid counterpart in being renamed "Thunderbirdmon".

GrandLocomon suffers the sorry fate of being renamed "GroundLocomon".

MetalSeadramon has his S lowercased as "Metalseadramon".

MegaloGrowmon keeps his old dub name, but its G is lowercased as "Wargrowlmon".

Salamandamon gets renamed "Salamandermon".

Wendimon is given his older Bandai of America name of "Endigomon" over the more correct one "Wendigomon".

Arkadimon, renamed "Arukhadimon" in the Fusion dub, gets his name mangled here as "Arcadiamon".

OmegaShoutmon keeps his dub name, but its S is lowercased as "Omnishoutmon".

JetSilphymon's S is lowercased as "Jetsilphymon".

Sefirotmon, who was renamed "Sakakkumon" in Frontier's dub, is renamed "Sephirothmon".

SkullKnightmon's k is lowercased as "Skullknightmon".

Shonitamon, who was renamed "Shounitamon" in the Fusion dub, is renamed here as "Shanitamon".

Sefirotmon, who was renamed "Sakakkumon" in Frontier's dub, is renamed "Sephirothmon".

Essentially it kept its Japanese name, which has been romanized as Sephirothmon in the Reference Book and elsewhere.

I'm curious if perhaps they got names from Bandai Japan and didn't check them with Saban.

That's what it SOUNDS like to me based on the names...

Wow, that's a bunch more PS sales. I'd call it weird, considering Xbox had avatar items, but I suppose it's the console demographic at work here.

Anyone knows when the Japanese version will be released?

There isn't going to be a Japanese version as far as we know.

Ack... a proper Japanese dub might just make this game more tolerable.

Got it during the sale! ...It really wasn't even worth the $16, I regret everything. The fighting mechanics are just... ugh the only fighting game whose controls were worse than this was Rumble Arena 2 and that isn't saying much to be honest. Everything is just so sluggish.

I should have just gotten the new Guilty Gear instead.

That may be true and Guilty Gear would have been fun though but hey, at least it was only 16 dollars.

Say what? Rumble Arena 2 used Super Smash Bros. Melee controls, and those were fun.

Yea, but the controls were stiff and limited. Same as Melee in concept only.

Well the controls in this game aren't exactly spectacular, it can be quite annoying to turn around and attack as for some reason it attacks but doesn't change direction (mostly if you attacked just slightly before and it thinks you're trying to perform a combo and when you're in the air)
Also please tell me I'm not the only one who moonwalk-jumps through the story mode areas.

Overall considering I spent 60€ on it (at the time I bought it the currency exchange made that the same as 75$) I really hope they localize Cyber Sleuth or this was a waste of money.
