The wait is over... again!

Digimon Adventure: Last Evolution Kizuna is out on Blu-ray and DVD today in the US!

The digital release of the movie was last week, but those waiting for a nice disc will hopefully get their copy today, whether it's shipped or they go looking for one (although with shipping, you might be waiting a few days.

The movie is up to order at Amazon if you haven't ordered it yet: (affiliate link)

Shout is also selling the movie direct on their store. If you pre-ordered from them, there is a decent chance you already have your disc. They were offering a bonus lithograph for orders, but they are now sold out of that bonus.

Both the Blu-ray and DVD include both the English dubbed and Japanese audio with English subtitles versions, along with a few extras.

We did a detailed review and breakdown of the Blu-ray and DVD if you want more info, including scans and screencaps.

The movie takes place in 2010, 5 years after the adventure of Digimon Adventure tri., and a bit over 10 years from the first adventure the kids had back in Digimon Adventure. The movie tells the last adventure of Taichi and Agumon before Taichi grows up. It also includes the return of the 02 kids and Digimon.

Our main discussion thread for talking about the movie is here.

Our Interview with Joshua Seth about the movie.

The US digital release of the movie was last week if you want some details about that.

A bit of an extra wait for Blu-ray and DVD compared to digital, but a week isn't so bad.

If you have any questions or thoughts about the release, feel free.

Australia is getting the Blu-ray and DVD in January.

Has anyone imported this to the UK and checked if it works on a Region 2 player? I know sometimes the Blu-Ray just works
