Let us rejoice, as Koushiro and his godly computing skills (which he has learnt not to rely on) allow the gazebo gang to finally bullshit their way out of this flimsy B-plot, regardless of how anti-climatic the actual solution was. Or that any IT Specialist working on behalf of the many shipping companies (or even observing the event) surely could have come up with a similar solution, since it didn't involve dealing with the Zurumon, who decide then and there to bugger off.
But at least it's over, that is something to be thankful for I guess... >_>
With one problem conveniently solved, the kids are now stuck in the real world without anything remotely meaningful to do. Fortunately another convenient solution is immediately at hand, in the form of Taichi's not in the slightest bit creepy sister.
"I may have just done a wee..."
Hikari proceeds to magically teleport everyone back to the Digital World (a fact I won't dwell on since that sort of thing is clearly both her and Takeru's primary role in the show) just in time to save Taichi, who (as usual) has chosen to place himself in unnecessary danger by riding around on Greymon during fights. Resulting in him breaking the world record for holding your breath underwater whilst two angry sea serpents try to drown you. That's our Taichi.
That is is essentially it. The second half of what could simply have worked as one episode, dragged out over the course of two. Characters do things we typically expect them to do, and the group are back together. We'll see how long that lasts...
