With about 2 months to go we have the DigiFes 2023 key art, along with a stack of details! (2)
It features the adult versions of all the 02 characters and Digimon, along with new characters Rei & Ukkomon, from Digimon Adventure 02: The Beginning!
The characters are also wearing the new DigiFes 2023 shirts, and have the penlights.
Lots to go over outside of the art so...
They are selling the shirts and penlights early for those who want to wear them to DigiFes...
The products will start being sold on July 3rd at the Digimon Partners shop. They include:
DigiFes 2023 Aloha Shirt- A Hawaiian style collared shirt that features a digiegg pattern,a long with the silhouettes of the Digimon from the new movie. It's 7,700 yen.
DigiFes 2023 D-3 Penlight- The DigiFes penlight this year features the D-3 as an important part of the design. It's 1,980 yen.
Then ticketing details...

Standard early ticketing is now open until May 31st at ePlus.
It is a ticket lotto, those who are chosen to be able to purchase tickets will find out between June 3rd and June 5th, and have until June 6th to buy their tickets.
The lotto application is different for the day and night versions.
The more expensive version comes with the reading drama script for the version you go to, which you will get at the event.

Both reading dramas are about 'the day of a certain fireworks show', with different plots for both performances.
Daytime- Fireworks Display Big Ticket Competition
Pair of VIP tickets with all you can eat and drink for the fireworks display, won in a lottery. There is a heated battle for hte tickets, which there is only one pair of, means each participant has their own plans! The location of this battle... a haunted house!
Nighttime- All together! The Nighttime Great Investigation!
The group gets lost in the crowd at a fireworks show. Where are their lost friends! They were meant to follow the clues and deduce rationally... but in the end, the case is solved with brute force!

It sounds like doing a fireworks take on the tri. beach reading drama that was done at DigiFes early in the run of tri. The key art is also fun this year, with a nice focus on the 02 characters, along with showing merchandise you can actually buy this time (last years was notable for all the custom designed merchandise that was only designed for the art.) The shirt looks nice, and nice to see the penlight take advantage of the usage of the D-3.
Just a couple months to go...
DigiFes this year will be on July 30th at Aqua Park Shinagawa and connected to Prince Hotel Shinagawa.
