DigiFes is a month away and another special project has been announced.
(It isn't mentioned who wrote the article on Digimon Partners, but at least part of it appears to be Producer Kinoshita, as some of the bits line up with stories he has told in the past.)
Singing Butter-Fly has become a regular feature of DigiFes. The first time he saw this event of unity was in 2017 and he was very moved, to the degree he just stood there unable to move for awhile while watching.
This year they have to ask the audience to not cheer and do similar things, but everyone still wants to sing together.
They're asking everyone to record video of themselves singing the last chorus of Butter-Fly and upload it, and they will use it at DigiFes.
Romanized versions of the lyric portion of the song, in case any of you want to try submitting your own:
Oh yeah
Mugendai na yume no ato no yarusenai yo no naka ja
Sou sa joushiki hazure mo waruku wa nai ka na
Stay shisou na imeeji wo someta gikochinai tsubasa demo
Kitto toberu sa
On my love
They also put up a guide video to show you what to do, and help you with the timing.
1- Please record yourself singing along with the song in the guide video (it has elements to hopefully help you stay in sync.) They recommend listening to the guide video with headphones on another device while you record on your phone so you can be synced to it without the audio from the video bleeding in.
They request you record the video in landscape, with the angle being you from the chest up.
2- Upload the recording here.
Submissions close July 12th
Not all videos will be used.
A neat little project for DigiFes.
