Deckerdramon & DeckerGreymon Previews for Booster Set 10

The Digimon Card Game Twitter has updated with a card preview from Booster Set 10 Xros Encounter. This time it's Deckerdramon & DeckerGreymon.

Deckerdramon really shows off the mecha style a lot of Xros Wars monsters have, featuring him launching the Deckerdra Launcher. DeckerGreymon we already saw, but this is a better quality image, with a nice focus on the cannon Deckerdramon being in the Xros adds.

Deckerdramon being only a Champion will forever annoy me. DeckerGreymon should've focused on Deckerdramon more so that he could at least have a better feeling evolution not a fan that this is basically the only thing is has in regards to a next form. Cool arts though. Also wait that's a regular Greymon Blue in the background rather than Greymon 2010, did the guy drawing it misunderstand when he was told to draw the blue Greymon lol

That's a Greymon 2010 not Greymon Blue, you can see the spikes and metal on it. It's just not standing in its usual posture.

I'd say its some sort of Greymon(blue) Greymon 2010 halfbreed... Digimutts confirmed?

But yeah the pose and such feels more Greymon/Geogreymon and the Sample text makes it hard to see the I guess Headphone portion.

But yeah I don't mind Deckerdra being an Adult/champion but I agree that deckergreymon should of had a bit more.

I had to squint hard to see the metal at all, I more immediately noticed the spikes on its chin, shoulders, and carapace which are absent from the normal Greymon design.

Deckerdramon design is a bit more detailed than Adult level digimon tend to get, but I like it as an Adult level. It's nice how MailBirdramon and it work as an air and ground mechanical duo. Also like how much of a dork weirdo Greymon (2010) looks. Maybe it didn't need to be a Greymon species, but the nostalgia fanservice probably played a role in it's design more than anything. I guess MetalGreymon (2010) does feel like what modern digimon feels like.

The one thing that is weird to me about Deckerdramon's design is how the organic legs seem grafted directly into the wheel part, which presents some obvious issues on how it moves. But hey, digital monsters. I am more than willing to accept a lot of bizarre anatomy and physiology. They don't need to work like real breathing creatures bound by our laws do!

That Deckergreymon card is especially cool because it highlights Mailbirdramon more, with the tail-head coming back over the back and getting an eye glint.

It's fucking Greymon, there are like six Adult level ones and they're still way less than there are Agumons. 2010 Greymon isn't that off by that standard.

It just happens that the main difference is "is Greymon (blue), but with a few added parts, and physically built more like OVA Greymon."
