I dunno, a Ruki voice might be a bit too rough.
Then again, you said Ruki as opposed to Rika, so I may have to go and listen to Tamers again, but assuming you mean Rika's voice, I think that'd be too rough for Nanami.
Lara Jill's "sweetness and light" Kari voice would be perfect in my opinion because it's a voice that can be manipulated to sound dark, or sweet, and possibly even seductive.
Sort of a, "How would Kari sound if she were the Digimon Kaizer?" idea. [shrugs] I'm probably not even making sense. I haven't been doing that alot lately, but whatever, this thread doesn't need to know my personal problems.
Back to the original discussion. Melissa Fahn's Rika voice would be too rough for Nanami. But if you mean Ruki's voice, I'll go back and re-watch an ep of subbed Tamers and get back to you on it.
But for now, I'm pushing for Lara to voice Nanami, because it just sounds so right in my head.
Bosch as Kouki. Since Kouki is just an evil Masaru in most respects, Bosch would be perfect, but hey, he could also be this new VA, and could probably blow us out of the water.
I'm not really sure about Ivan's voice to be honest. I haven't given it a great deal of thought.
All I really want from Ivan is that "But I could never say that out loud" is kept.
Micheal Lindsay for Kurata! Just for the sheer homage factor. LOL
The voices have been great so far, so I'm confident in whomever is chosen and cast.
