Cyberdramon & Tamer Card Ryo Previews for Booster Set EX-02

The Digimon Card Game Twitter has updated with card previews from Booster Set EX-02 Digital Hazard. This time it's Cyberdramon and tamer card Ryo.

For Cyberdramon we get some nice detailed and cartoony art of him slashing a familiar Digimon in the background. Ryo gets new artwork in the style of the series, as you'd expect for a tamers card. It looks quite nice.

Huh, that Cyberdramon is in Kowloon so that is actually Ryuji's (Hacker's Memory) Cyberdramon rather than Ryo's. (You can tell cuz of the effects on the blue wall in the background)

I think it's more likely to be an effect of space distortion caused by its technique, but I could be wrong

Btw you made me notice the mysterious presence in the upper right corner, but I can't tell what Digimon that is. If that's a Digimon

Does it bother anyone else that Ryo's hair goes over the card art boundary.

Anyways, as is common with the EX-series these cards as are gimmicky as ever and I'm not in love with the whole "can't attack the opponent without a Tamer" but I'll have to see them in action before giving final judgement.

Thats a beefy card. You dont normally see 10000 DP on a level 5 unless its a vanilla.

He's such a continuity breaking Gary Stue, he probably would. Probably won all three of them off of Kaiba too.

It's at the very least not a "wall", since the square pattern is clearly in front of Devidramon.
And I don't think CS has the monopoly on any sort of rectangular patterns.
We can see the energe emanating from the claws turning into rectangles further down, so that is indeed a possible origin, and the Human network seen from the Tamers Digital world has similar patterns, which the background could also reference.
