Cyberdramon in D-Power v1 Europe

Hi everyone!

This is my very first post on the forum, so hope I'm doing it the right way. You see, recently I got a v1 D-Power (Europe version) and as far as I know, it is possible to get cyberdramon as a playable character. I've looked for any kind of reference or guide online but I've had no luck.

So, my question is: does anyone remember how to get cyberdramon in the European D-Power? Do you get in in the first playthrough (Final boss Beelzemon) or in the second one (final boss Mephistomon)? And it would be a great help if you could remember the map he appears in.

Sorry if this is not the place to post this. I'd appreciate any kind of help.

Yeah, I can assure you that it is possible to get it

I usually play with D-Power while visiting my parents house, last year I obtain both Cyberdramon (actually I seem to remember that the base form is Strikerdramon --> Cyberdramon --> Juustimon), Lopmon and Impmon.

Unfortunately I don't remember how I got it, I think completing the map twice?

I'll update this post and upload a photo of them next time I'll visit my old house (I hope it continues with battery...)

Yeah, I already got Lopmon and Impmon. Now I'm on the hunt for Cyberdramon and Veemon (I heard it's possible to get him, but don't know for sure). My theory is that maaaaybe you can get Cyberdramon from the spot where you get Lopmon, but during the 2nd playthrough. If that's not the case, then maybe in the final map. I'll also update this thread with my findings during my 2nd playthrough.

It would be a great help if you could upload some photos when you have the time. Thanks a lot!

I thought that you can´t obtain any digimon on D ark ver. 1 (D power EU/Asia ver) do you have the old D power or newer one?

It’s the old one, from 2001. You start the adventure with the 3 main digimon from Tamers, then you get Lopmon and Impmon.

From what I’ve learned, it is also possible to get Cyberdramon and Veemon, but I don’t know how.

I didn´t know that O_O How can you get lopmon and impmon if I may ask you?

You encounter Lopmon as a 2 stage boss in map 4 if I remember correctly. It's Lopmon and then Antylamon. Then in the final map, 1st playthrough, you fight against Impmon who then evolves to Beelzemon, kind of like a final boss. If you defeat him, he'll join your team and you'll have to start the adventure over with Mephistomon as the final boss.

According to what I've found online, Veemon is found in the last map, before taking on Mephistomon. No word on how to get Cyberdramon yet. But I'm in the middle of my 2nd playthrough, so I'll see if I find him along the way.

Anyway, I'll keep this thread updated with my findings.

I have found somewhere on the internet that you can get Cyberdramon if you complete your second run but idk if it´s true I am momentally starting my first run today so yeah xD

Good luck to you!! God knows I've suffered over this ridiculously complex "children" toy xD. The mechanics are sooo unbalanced, specially the card slash. I can't see myself playing this as a 10 year old. Still, it's very enjoyable and the prospect of finding some hidden digimon is cool too.

There is one person who says:

memory whichever maps does not have exactly, to lopmon when you win vs antylamon.

if you lucky you faced mephistomon like final enemy

Indeed, I've just confirmed through my own gameplay that you find Cyberdramon during the 2nd playthrough, replacing Lopmon as map 4's final boss. Now I'm on my way to confirm if the Veemon information is accurate or not. I'll continue updating the thread with my findings.

Also, Cyberdramon has the stats of a champion evolution and it gets only an Ultimate and Mega evolution. The Ultimate is Cyberdramon (weird) and the Mega is, of course, Justimon. I believe it's something similar to what happened in the D3 digivice, where rookie Gatomon would get another form of Gatomon as a champion evolution.

EDIT: Just updating my reply to confirm that VEEMON IS AVAILABLE IN THE EUROPEAN D-POWER DIGIVICE v1

I'm copying the steps to get it from another website:
1. Beat Beelzebumon first
2. Repeat cycle until final map
3. Beat all dotted area bosses (Majiramon & Caturamon) in final map (map 6)
4. When star shaped area appears, do not go there, instead return to rectangular shaped area (defeated bosses area).
5. Get your Veemon when distance counts 0

I think this may be the first official confirmation that I've got from my own playthrough as there wasn't any actual evidence online.

In some websites it says he can evolve to Imperialdramon FM. I'll try to get some confirmation on this.

I know, right?? As I think there's nothing more to achieve so far, I've stopped playing with the D-Power and I'm just starting a new adventure with a european D-tector v1

These digivices do NOT have a save function. So sadly, all your progress is lost the moment you change the batteries. I've heard some rumors about swapping batteries fast so the device doesn't completely reset, but I haven't confirmed this myself. Such a shame! It would be amazing if you could keep your run and revisit it whenever you want instead of having to start everything from scratch...

I believe that once you complete the map you're in now, you'll be in the final one. It looks like a grid. It's different than the previous maps as it has rectangular shape. After you defeat all the bosses in this map (Majiramon & Caturamon), the star shaped dot will apear. Don't go there yet.

Instead, go to the previous square shaped areas and V-mon should be in one of them. I think its random, but in my case it appeared in the one on the right.

Well, well, well...

I thought this game wasn't gonna surprise me anymore and here I am.

Turns out, you do get an extra d-volve card, I named it "Infinity Card" as the symbol on it is ∞. Here's the evidence:

So, what this card does is allowing Guillmon, Impmon and Veemon to further evolve into Gallantmon Crimsom Mode, Beelzemon Blast Mode and Imperialdramon Fighter Mode respectively, as seen here:

If your check the sprites for Gallantmon, Beelzemon and Imperialdramon Dragon Mode, you'll see that these new sprites are completely different.

I got this "new" card during my 3rd playthrough of the game. Map 1, as soon as you rescue Calumon from Makuramon, you get it. I'll see if you get something new in the following maps, currently working on that. So far, the only effect this card seems to have on the other digimon (Renamon, Terriermon, Lopmon, Cyberdramon) is that it evolves them 100% to Mega level, no matter how you slash the card. Unlike the "11" card that relies on a specific type of slash to digivolve them to Mega.

We'll see if we get something else.

EDIT: editing because I didn’t mention that the infinity card consumes 24 d-power and it doesn’t always push you all the way to “ultra” level in Guilmon, Impmon and Veemon case. Again, it depends on how you perform the slash

I have vague memories of Belzeemon Blast and Dukemom crimson mode in the game. Now i understand the reason xd you can really play with them

This game is more complete than I remembered as a child, when I thought that only the 3 protagonists were playable.

I hope Bandai will release another 15th anniversary re-version again and not another LCD/Complete Animation device. I love playable Digivices

You can imagine my surprise!

To be fair, this is my very first time playing with this specific digivice. I own an old European D-3 version 2 which I adored as a child but that was it hahaha xD. All in all, this D-Power has been an amazing experience to relive my passion for Digimon Tamers and virtual pets as well. In any case, I have a D-Tector waiting for me to start playing with it in the near future.

Anyway, I have some theories about what may happen as I continue playing the D-Power's story mode. Idk, maybe we could get Leomon, Guardromon and MarineAngemon. Right now I'm in the map where you get Lopmon (1st playthrough) and Cyberdramon (2nd one) as final map bosses so we'll see how that goes. I'm still curious about it so I'll keep this thread updated.
