Time to play if you are on PC!

If you had planned to get Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth- Complete Edition on PC, the game just went up on Steam and shows as available right now!

It likely has gone up a bit early due to various hour differences between locations, but if you wanna get it, it's time to nab it!

The game shows that it needs 4 gigs of storage, and shows relatively low system requirements, so most people should easily be able to play it!

The official release date is tomorrow, which is when the Switch copy will be out for those in the US (a few other places it's already launched for!)

Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth- Complete Edition for Switch is currently available to pre-order for $50 on Amazon: (Affiliate link)
Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth- Complete Edition (Nintendo Switch)

Nintendo eShop pre-orders aren't currently open, but a page is listed.

Not surprised by the price, as I understand Steam games tend to cost no more than the console versions and are usually cheaper thanks to things like Steam sales.

I wonder if there's any way to convert a PS4 save file to PC. I haven't finished Cyber Sleuth yet and it would be nice to continue on PC.

Even if you could, that would prob only be for HM. This version has balance changes and 92 new digimon for the original game which means it wouldn't be compatible with the OG version from vita/ps4

also hopefully someone finds out what the Ciel/Noir situation is on PC

Hmmm... double dip on Switch or PC? Looks like some possibly graphics enhancements on PC. It would be awesome if it had ultrawide support.

First impressions, of mostly technical nature after a few minutes...
Performance wise it runs fine (rendering with OpenGL) but not a particularly good port by any means.
The options are extremely basic. Very limited resolution Settings but goes up to 4K. Antialiasing is extremely crappy but being able to easily play at 4K thanks to the low system requirements helps to offset that a bit.
Neither models or textures look any more high-res so far, I'd expect everything to be on the level of the PS4 version. (The resource packs do use another format on the PC, so I couldn't check directly yet).
Button prompts are kept as 360 controller buttons no matter which button they are actually bound to. But at least you can rebind the buttons which I guess is laudable considering the circumstances. There's no mouse control to speak of (you can click to press the "A" button but it doesn't matter where the pointer is... kind of irritating).
Overall it's okay for what it is. it's not a worse case scenario poorly optimized ps-vita level compressed assets but it's also nowhere near a polished port.

It's acceptable for a re-release but I really hope Survive will be treated better. I'm keeping a positive outlook in that respect as Survive might have been developed with a multi-platform release in mind from the very beginning and I do believe we know it's developed in Unity which should come with decent PC feature support out of the box.

Having bought both versions. It's actually the same price as getting it physical on Switch.

It seems like it might be a UK and/or EU only price.

How's the difficulty of the Hard mode in this PC/Switch port? I've heard that Hard mode in the original version is hellish tough.

It's confirmed the updated version for CS? Does it have the shared digimon too?

Got the Switch version pre-ordered, but it's funny to see how they didn't have any kind of Steam page out until the release. Regardless, real excited to play again!

Any info about the online PVP mode? Will it be cross-platform (PS/Switch/PC)?
