They’ve done so much retconning with Kizuna I don’t think they care about continuity in any way but the broadest strokes.
They can easily find some way to slam it into 02’s story: like Hiroki kept meeting this “Turnipmon” secret because he didn’t want to make Oikawa jealous or because he’s worried he imagined it or some such justification like that.
Sure they
can do it. They can do anything technically. That's why I called it a worst case scenario, and not an impossible scenario.
It's not that they wouldn't be capable of doing it, I'd just consider it pretty much indefensible from an artistic standpoint if they did.
Another thing to consider: The V-bracelet Dim-cards for these three Digimon are slated for later this year, according to pre-order websites. So, this might mean we'll see their full lines a bit quicker than usual. Especially if the Anime starts in september.
Or we could get a truly classic style Digimon opening that spoils all partner forms up to Perfect and maybe even silhouettes for the Ultimates.
The wording they used suggested that it would be connected to Adventure:. Remember that they called it a "Digimon Adventure: Follow up/successor" not a "new Digimon anime"
I think someone else already pointed out that they could have been talking in terms of time slots.
I guess it would help to know if that is a common perspective to take in more internal documents.
He’s got the same design philosophy as Renamon: mostly one color, too big, no asymmetry, looks halfway between Child and Adult.
If that was the intention it was terribly executed here. Renamon had far more than one color going on and far more detail in terms of general proportions as well as fur tufts, those shoulder fur spikes and the very prominent gloves.
This guy is clearly the comic relief so hopefully his bland design is because he’s going to be expressively animated and taking a bunch of pratfalls and cartoony exaggerated poses.
I don't see anything "clear" about this assumption so I'm also skeptical about all those conclusions drawn from said assumption.
Those belts probably are for a backpack though, given how backpacking ties in with the yeti/Bigfoot theme.
Again, I am not convinced of all those foregone conclusions here.
If those Digimon correspond to the DiM cards, this guy would imho be Angoramon, and that would mean his design is
not based off bigfoot but on the
Angora rabbit, which accounts for the fur color, the covered face, and the giant flappy ears shown in the sillhuette (and that we can also glimpse in the front view, held together behind its head by another belt) that are definitely not a feature of bigfoot.
My view on his design philosophy is that it's supposed to actually be the fat rabbit that people always mistake Galgomon for.
But since it was appearently posted by a known fanartist, the likelyhood Ghost Game is legit is low
Huh, now that would be big if confirmed... do we know which artist exactly?
From searching the chinese forum for the User ID used to post the images initially (as far as we know) I haven't really come across any fanart...
