Colors for Possible Tamers in the Digimon Card Game

Inspired by the announcement of the Taiga and Rina cards, and by the discussion on that thread regarding other characters Bandai could add to the card game, I thought I'd speculate on the colors each tamer of the franchise would get if included in this game. This is mostly for fun and I do not expect most of these characters to actually have a card.

V-Tamer

Spoiler: V-Tamer

• Neo Saiba: Purple or Black. He's associated with the Demon Army (thus Purple) and creates his own artificial digimon (thus Black).
• Hideto Fujimoto: Yellow. His Omegamon is explicitely considered the "most powerful of the holy knights", and holiness is the theme of the Yellow cards.
• Mari: Green. Her partner is Rosemon.
• Sigma: Purple. His partner is Piedmon.

Adventure 02

• Daisuke: Blue, synergy with Green.
• Miyako: Red. Synergy with Yellow because she's Hikari's jogress partner.
• Iori: Blue. Synergy with Yellow because he's Takeru's jogress partner.
• Ken: Green. Wormmon would fit in that deck. Synergy with Blue.
• Digimon Kaiser: Purple, because that's Chimeramon's color.
• Oikawa: Black. Arukenimon and Mummymon are meant to be synthetic.
• Wallace: Yellow or Blue and allowing synergy with the other color.

Tamers

• Takato: Red. Guilmon's line already is.
• Jianliang: Blue. I expect Terriermon to be here.
• Ruki: Yellow. Renamon's line evokes "holy creatures".
• Juri: Blue. Leomon is already there.
• Hirokazu: Black. Andromon and Guardromon are already there.
• Kenta: Blue. MarinAngemon is one of the OG Deep Savers.
• Shaochung: Yellow. Lopmon eventually becomes Cherubimon.
• Ai and Makoto: Purple.

Savers

• Masaru: Yellow. GeoGreymon is already there.
• Tohma: Should be Blue, but Gaomon may be put in another deck like Agumon Savers was just for variety.
• Yoshino: Should be Green.
• Ikuto: Red. Birds are there for now.
• Satsuma: Yellow. Kudamon's theme is "holy beasts".
• Kurata: Either Black (because of the Gizmon) or Purple (because of Belphemon)
• Suguru: Yellow. Liollmon and Liamon are both Yellow.
• Megumi and Miki: Black. The Chessmon are Metal Empire.
• Yushima: Blue. Kamemon is an aquatic digimon.
• Chika: Red. Piyomon is already there.

• Tsurugi: Yellow. See Masaru.
• Yuu: Blue. See Tohma.
• Shou: Red. See Ikuto
• Ami. Blue. MarinAngemon again.

Dusk/Dawn

• Sayo: Purple. Lunamon is a Dark type.
• Koh: Yellow. Coronamon is a Holy type.

• Yuuya: Black, because BlackWargreymon is there.
• Mirei: Either Purple or Yellow, with synergy with the other color.
• Dr. Yakov Petrov: Either Red because he uses dragon digimon or Black because of how involved he was with Vitium.

Cyber Sleuth

• Nokia: Blue or Red with synergy.
• Arata: Black. Keramon is already there.
• Yuugo: Black. Mugendramon is already there.
• Yuuko: Red. I expect Gaioumon to be here.

Tri/Kizuna

• Meiko: Yellow or Purple.
• Menoa: Either Green or Black.

I wouldn't be surprised if Koh and Sayo wound up being Red and Blue.

I wouldn't be surprised if Sayo and Koh are Blue and Red either but I would much prefer Purple and Yellow as I think it represents Dawn and Dusk's depictions of Lunamon, Coronamon, and their overall teams better than the generic "fire and water"

I don't think Chimeramon will be basis for the Digimon Emperor, as traditional Jogress/Gattai digimon looks to be White, but we don't have any bellow Lv7 yet.
Daisuke will probbly be Blue, if V-dramon and Rina are any indication.
It would be cool if Koh and Sayo got both colors eventually, but I agree Yellow and Purple should be prioritary.
Hideo and/or Nokia could even be White because of Omegamon. White tamers could maybe allow use of any color Options? Perheaps limited by their cost, to not be too universal?

I think it's possible to have two color cards for Mirei and Nokia.

But I'm surprised Digimon World 3Ds tamers didn't get enough popular than Sayo and Koh. Even Rina overshadowed Next Order characters for her new card at least Taiga finally got his card.

I will be surprised if Kyoko actually got her card despite it's Alphamon but again it could be reference effect to involve DORUmon's evo and Alphamon like Taiga oddly targets Tyranomon specifically.

psst, by the way guys, Millenniummon is a colorless that evolves from only Black and Purple cards. Millenniummon is a jogress of Machinedramon and Chimeramon. Omegamon happens to be the only other jogress as well as the only other colorless card and it evolves from Red or Blue Digimon to reference Metal Garurumon's color and War Greymon's color within that set. Machinedramon we've already seen is in Black, so Millenniummon also having a purple color requirement for evolution is a massive hint that Chimeramon is Purple.

Daisuke will probbly be Blue, if V-dramon and Rina are any indication

in my opinion, it would be a huge missed opportunity to introduce a red Veemon, especially for the thematic tie to Flamedramon (which also ties back to the flame design on Daisuke's shirt). He also has way more a personality that matches red's aggresive game plan than Tai in my opinion
