Chinese New Year's Terriermon Parallel Card Preview, Commercial, & Social Image

A quick preview of a Digimon Card Game card that came out in the Chinese version of the game.

To celebrate Chinese New Year, a Terriermon parallel card came out with new artwork of Terriermon and Lopmon celebrating the new year.

The card is a gift when 60 yuan (A bit under $9) is spent on Digimon Card Game products in china, and comes in a red envelope, like New Year's gifts would be presented in China, said to give happiness and blessings on those who get the gift.


The closest thing to non photo previews for now is this...

Basically explaining how you get it, and showing smaller previews.


On various Digimon Card Game/Bandai social media in China they also shared an image for the new year featuring the new art...

The cards and social image were shown off in a long form commercial made for the card game in China. (The Bilibili video isn't embeddable, so if you want to watch it, the link there will take you to it.)

...but this is the Year of the Rabbit, not the Dog. Shouldn't it be a Lopmon card?

Like the English localizers, China probably didn't get the memo. And they did include Lopmon in the card, at least.

But Terriermon's Chinese name literally has the character for "Dog" in it
