Chapmon & Kamemon Previews for Booster Set 13

The Digimon Card Game Twitter has updated with card previews from Booster Set 13 VS Royal Knights. This time it's Chapmon & Kamemon.

Chapmon features him floating around in the water with a few other baby Digimon, while Kamemon features it launching using Koura Attack.

Nice, I hope we get JumboGamemon this set, though we are likely gonna have UlforceVeedramon, MirageGaogamon (and burst mode), Duftmon, and and Examon taking up blue slots.

So Chapmon has evolved from both Pichimon and Puwamon in the past. Still weird to see both on them on this card though, they don't usually put two first stage babies on one card like that.

Anyway glad to see these guys, my first thought was that Kamemon kinda looks more like the chibi version from Fusion than the regular one. Pretty generic cards that prob wont even get used in anything but this is two more Digimon to add to the list of used Digimon bringing us one step closer to everyone is here. Plus Chapmon has only ever had one vpet appearence and one anime cameo so it's nice to see him get to do something we need more than Bukamon to get used as aquatic babies. Hopefully Kamemon gets his full line and doesn't just end at lv5. He did evolve to JumboGamemon in the Data Squad game. Could also bring Shoutmon X2S though that's not gonna happen lol.

Oh hey, it's the first time we've seen Kamemon in the card game. None of Hiroshi's Kamemon's line have gotten in since they used Sagomon over Shawujinmon for the JTTW crew, so that's nice.

The Commander's partner was a Kamemon.

My honest first reaction was "wait, is that Chibikamemon or Kamemon?" Apparently they're officially counted as the same Digimon, fair enough I guess.

Hopefully Kamemon gets his full line and doesn't just end at lv5. He did evolve to JumboGamemon in the Data Squad game.

Given Jumbo was designed for him, it'd be weird if it wasn't. Makes enough sense to have it here rather than somewhere else, and while it would be four or five Blue Ultimates, strictly speaking that's not impossible - 4 happens in almost every set and even as recently as BT-11 we had Purple with 5 level 6s.

I know there was like no chance of it happening, but I was hoping that Chapmon would have Pipimon as its pre-evolution on a card, to finally give Pipimon something.

Also ChibiKamemon has a differently-shaped helmet that fully shows off its eyes.

Same. And it's all the more painful that they showed off TWO BabyI Digimon in this card (has this even happened before?), but god forbid they finally establish a connection to the BabyI that Chapmon most resembles.

They sort of implied that Pipimon is basically an alternate Leafmon in some Wormmon cards.

Per the Imperialdramon starter deck, Pipimon -> Minomon -> Wormmon is a thing.
