Cards for English Card Game Tamer Party Events in January through March, plus Rule/Document Updates

After being announced roughly a month ago, we know what cards will be given away at English Card Game Tamer Party events January through March 2021.

It's English versions of the Greymon, Garurumon, and Angemon promo parallel cards that were given away with apparel purchases in Japan.


The first lineup of Tamer Party events is listed for January 29th – March 31st, 2021 and they are described as:

Casual in-store events aimed at encouraging new Digimon Tamers to pick up the game!

These special Tamer Party store events allow new players to learn all elements of the game from experienced Tamers, joining the fun of the Digimon Card Game!

Learn how to play from existing Digimon tamers!
Compete against fellow tamers to improve your competitive skills!
Receive exclusive prizes for participating in a demonstration or game!

Bandai is aware many areas can't safely open for these sort of events, and have recommended card stores give out the cards as bonus items if someone buys enough Digimon cards to equal a tournament entry fee. (Or for stores to hold events in thte way they feel works with current safety measures, etc.)

The pre-sale for the first wave of English Digimon Card Game releases is out. It includes the first 3 starter decks and special booster 1.0 (a larger than normal booster set containing a selection of cards from the 1st 3 Japanese boosters. When paired with the upcoming special 1.5, it contains all the cards as those boosters in Japan.)
