Card Game Promo Pack at ACGHK2020, Convention Delayed

Good news and bad news, but interesting overall..

A 4 card Digimon Card Game promo pack was planned for ACGHK2020 (Ani-Com & Games Hong Kong 2020.) It looks like they also planned to have it be a giveaway location for the new black/purple 8 card promo pack also.

No info at the moment of what the contents may have been, although the MetalGreymon art they show 'does' appear to be new.


The convention was planned for July 24th thru July 27th, with the promo pack being given away in the Carddass Special Event Room (N206-208) at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center on July 26th and 27th.

Roughly the same the photographed teaser image showed up for the promo pack, the convention has been delayed from it's original dates due to Coronavirus concerns to later this year.



Thanks to a few people for sending this in, although we don't know the original source of the image at the moment.

Huh, that would have to be a pretty righteous MetalGreymon card to justify putting it front and centre of a promo pack imo.

A number of Japanese card games, Digimon Card Game included, get relatively decent distribution in a number of Asian countries. There is no change from when the game launched.

I see, but will they distributed it in japanese language or english language? I thought that when you promote the card game on HK, at least it will come with english language to cater overseas/asian fans
