Thank to data from an early sales sheet, we know what some of the main features for Booster Set 16 Beginning Observer is for the card game, just a week after we first found out about the set.
As expected, the main theme of the set is Digimon Adventure 02: The Beginning.
There will be many Digimon & Tamer cards of characters from the film, including Lui & Ukkomon.
Imperialdramon: Fighter Mode will get an Ace card, and there will be 3 more Ace cards.
A new effect called Partition appears. When a card leaves the battle area it allows you to use the jogress resources (so using the cards that make up the jogress Digimon in some fashion.)
Leon & Pulsemon from Digimon Seekers will both appear in the set.
Lots of stuff that makes sense for the movie. 02 movie characters heavy, Fighter Mode getting an Ace card after Dragon Mode is getting an Ace promo, more Ace cards with a number of obvious potential choices, a new effect for Jogress Digimon, plus the continuation of Seekers characters showing up leads to what is looking like a nice set to end the year with.
Digimon Card Game Booster Set 16 Beginning Observer is out on December 23rd.
