A few more card game updates tonight...
The previously announced 1st Anniversary Parallel Card Vote has begun! The voting page is here.
To celebrate the 1st anniversary of the Digimon Card Game, fans have a month to vote for cards they would like to see get parallel cards.
Fans can vote for 3 cards, and the top choices will get new parallel cards that will be box purchase bonus' for Booster Set 6.
It appears they made any card illegible if it got a parallel card in it's initial release (so if a card from Booster 1 got a parallel card 'in' Booster 1, it can't be chosen.) Skimming the cards available to vote for that appeared to be the pattern.
We have clean card images for Booster Set 4 Great Legend.
We also have begun to get details about Booster Set 5 Battle of Omega, including our first look at art via DigiNavi!
We also just got our first details & images for Booster Set 6 Double Diamond & the Dukemon & ULForceV-dramon starter decks and pre-orders are up!
Plus we have the first details for the 1 year anniversary of the card game, including a number of fun things!
And images from previous Digimon Card Game releases:
Starter Decks 1, 2, and 3, and first 10 promo cards
Booster Set 1 New Evolution
Booster Set 2 Ultimate Power
V-Tamer Promo Cards
Purple/Black Promo Set
Tamer Battle Pack 1 and Tamer Battle Winner's Card
Booster Set 3 Union Impact
Starter Decks 4, 5, & 6, plus Tamer Battle Pack 2 & winner's Card 2, & 1st 2 scene vote cards
Plus for those playing the English version of the game...
Online tournaments for the English version of the card game have been announced for March!
We won't go over every detail (the event page is in English in the link above), but there is something new...
The prizes are generally accessories we've seen before, but there is one new item...
One of the prizes for the first place winner at each online event is a new playmat featuring the art of MetalGreymon and MetalMamemon from Booster Set 3, featuring some a good amount of styling based on the original Digimon V-Pet. The card art was also quite popular with fans, reproducing a well known bit from the original Digimon World game (which just celebrated its 22nd anniversary.)
All the day 1 cards (the 3 starter decks, special booster 1.0, and a bunch of promo cards) we have clean images for, which can be found here.
We also have all the images from Special Booster 1.5 and a bunch of promo cards, which can be found here.
The pre-sale for the first wave of English Digimon Card Game releases is out. It includes the first 3 starter decks and special booster 1.0 (a larger than normal booster set containing a selection of cards from the 1st 3 Japanese boosters. When paired with the upcoming special 1.5, it contains all the cards as those boosters in Japan.)
Various rules and other updates for the early release of the Digimon Card Game English version can be found here.
We also have info about the release of Starter Decks 4, 5, and 6 and Booster Set 4 in English here.
Early packaging and promo card details for special booster 1.5 can be found here.
Details of the upcoming Premium Pack & Great Dash Pack can be found here and here.
Details of the January Tamer Party promo cards & rule and Q/A updates can be found here.
Details for the Memorial Pack Promos & Tournament Kits with Promo Cards & Tamer Battle Pack 1 are here.
