CaptainHookmon Preview for Booster Set 8

The Digimon Card Game Twitter has updated with a card preview from Booster Set 8 New Hero. This time it's CaptainHookmon.

Not a huge surprise based on various Digimon we've seen in this set, but excepted doesn't mean not fun. It's a great looking card.

Guess this means Angemon is not getting his own full line in this set. There is only room for another Lv. 5 or 6 in the set. Well unless, if the card turns out to be MagnaAngemon and Seraphimon is a secret rare. But given how Seraphimon got the super rare treatment in all 3 of his existing version I wonder if they'd go out of their way to make him one of the secret rares.

That said, Captain James Silver Harlock here is looking badass.

The tumblr post is well-said. For a moment I wished there were a Wendymon. (lol at Bancho suggesting it's Wendigomon). But then I realized that an actual Wendymon design would probably have me make the same complaint as with Captainhookmon. But after that I realized that Wendy would probably be a digidestine not a digimon.

Finally CaptainHookmon joined after Tinkermon got second card yet Petermon only have 1 card lol

if only Booster 8 can release new digimon related to Wonderland... We can have a new gator digimon for that! Hookmon gets Whamon so why not CaptainHookmon gets one?

I think it could be a nice reference to its profile that states he's a gentleman with weaker Digimon, but he gives all of himself if challenged to a battle
