Card shops in Japan has gotten promotional poster for Booster EX-01 Classic Collection, and thanks to some photos we have a look.

The main portion of the poster shows off the reference book artwork for Agumon, Greymon, MetalGreymon, and WarGreymon, which isn't that different than what you would expect.

Underneath that is a look at the card packaging, which we've seen before, along with card previews of Tyranomon, Garurumon, Ogreymon, and you can see a bit of a Kuwagamon card off to the side.

Seeing more Tyrannomon always puts a smile on my face. They're really pushing for the Red/Green (Plus Taiga) mix with it too which is cool. Could definitely do with having some new Digimon for the Tyrannomon family though.

Will the back side of the cards also have the classical design?

Almost certainly not, having multiple card backs is a bad idea in a TCG outside of specific weird cards.

They would be unusable in actual matches if that was the case. Anyone can easily tell that one of the cards isn't the same as the others. Knowing what a card is before you draw it, or knowing where a specific card is located in your deck is cheating. There are cheaters in other TCGs that purposefully leave a small mark on the backs of specific cards, let alone the fact that an entirely-different cardback is even more obvious than any marks.

They would be usable, but only with sleeves.

I'm talking about the game as is. No card game requires you to use sleeves (though they are recommended).

They're not going to make an addendum clause that states, "these cards are only usable if you're using sleeves." If the card itself is unusable in a match as-is, then it's simply not usable, regardless of workarounds (especially workarounds that requires buying unnecessary accessories).

I do like seeing Tyrannomon here as support for the whole Tyrannomon theme deck with Taiga, but yeah, could probably use some more members to help with consistency, especially if they want to go in on that Red/Green mix since only the Green half has a Lv6 with RustTyrannomon at the moment.

That is very technically true. However, within Magic the Gathering's official rules lies this passage:

711.3. Players must ensure that double-faced cards in hidden zones are indistinguishable from other cards in the same zone. To do this, the owner of a double-faced card may use completely opaque card sleeves and/or a substitute card (see rule 713). Sanctioned tournaments have additional rules for playing with double-faced cards. See rule 100.6.

Which states that using card sleeves, under specific circumstances, is required if you don't have a specific kind of substitute card. Duel Masters has a similar rule, since it also has DFCs, but I don't know precisely where that is.

That is a completely different situation. MtG's double-faced cards are a unique intended feature that utilizes both sides of the card.

It's an intended mechanic built into the game. At that point, the game itself necessitates the use of accessories for specific mechanics, like dice for card effects that require rolling a die.

Again, it's a completely different situation from a card that has a different cardback purely for display-use aesthetic purposes. The card itself has no effects that necessitates the use of accessories, nor does the Digimon Card Game have a built-in mechanic that uses the other side of the card (as of this moment).

This is why I specified "unnecessary" accessories in my last reply. The card has no in-game effects that necessitates the use of sleeves, nor does the Card Game even have a mechanic that requires sleeves in the first place; hence, sleeves are unnecessary accessories (specifically to the Digimon Card Game).
It goes without saying that when I said "usable as-is", I meant under the condition that one has access to the necessary equipment required to play and no access to anything unnecessary to the game. After all, you can't play a video game without a controller (including mouse+keyboard), but you don't need a mic to play it (unless the game necessitates a mic, like a voice-activated mechanic, but that's besides the point).

Haven't seen anyone mention this is the first non-Level 5 card that counts as a different colour.

Yeah now I just noticed this after your post. I think it's that Agumon with green card to connect up with.

I wonder if they will make Adult level cards dual colors to make the whole game even more interesting?
Maybe it doesn't have to be Jogress...
