Booster Set 5 Battle of Omega Promo Art & Set Details

During DigiNavi we got our first look at art from Booster Set 5 Battle of Omega.

The left is the promotional version they put up slightly after, while the right is a screencap from the screen.

The art shows off Omegamon Zwart D and Omegamon in large clear art, with many more hinted at via shadows and silhouettes.



A few booster 5 details:
It will have Omegamon, Omegamon Zwart, and Omegamon Zwart D in it.
It will add a new battle tactic called Blitz. It allows you to attack immediately after an evolution.



We have clean card images for Booster Set 4 Great Legend. Parallel cards will be added to the page once we have proper images of all of them.

We also have begun to get details about Booster Set 5 Battle of Omega! It's scheduled for release on February 26th.

I always loved the art of Omegamon Zwart D, and this one looks so great too.

Looks like Xros Heart vs Bagra Army, with the Omegamons as the commanders.

I know a lot of people have "Omegamon fatigue" in general, but the only one who really bothers me is Zwart defeat. When he debuted, I found it fine as an individual, but then it was promoted to a species, which feels really odd to me.

Oh? Jijimon? Is that seriously him? Hexeblaumon and BanchoLilimon! Can't wait to see their artworks!

I can see Shademon, Algomon, Troopmon, Dark knightmon and Dorbickmon(?). A lot of Xros Wars indeed

It doesn't surprise me in the least that it'll feature the Xros Wars crew as well. I suspect the Tamer layout will be something like Taiki (Red), Kiriha (Blue) and Nene (either Green or Black) in the same vein as how Savers was handled and then some more Adventure Colon kids to fill out the rest of the Colours.

Seeing stuff like Jijimon, Cutemon and Troopmon definitely has me excited as they're not the obvious go to's that I would have expected even if I suspected a XW theme. DCG continues to impress by giving the littler Digimon time to shine.

If Xros Wars tamers are in and I find a Kiriha card it will take a lot of my willpower not to tear it up. I have never felt genuine hate for a Digimon character before but my god do I hate Kiriha

Man, am I super excited to see that Hexeblaumon is gonna be in this set. I'm also interested in Blitz as a keyword, since that sounds awfully similar to what we saw from Chaosmon in BT-4, though that is a somewhat unorthodox attack considering it can attack Unsuspended Digimon, so this'll probably be more standard for the most part. Still, as we saw with Chaosmon, having the ability to attack on Digivolve is super valuable due to how turns pass/effects resolve in this game, so this could be really nice to keep up the overall aggression, especially if you're able to declare an attack on Security with this.

Yeah Ceresmon then Plutomon. So I'm sure the random Olympian Twelve member or two will be there. But I want Aegiomon/Jupitermon lines too!

So from what I can see on Zwart D's side is Shademon in the top left, Algomon below him, ChaosDukemon in middle right, Troopmon just below him and to the left and what looks like Dorbickmon in bottom right. Then we got Cutemon, Hexblaumon, Bancholilymon, Omegashoutmon and Jijimon this looks amazing so far

Excited for hexeblaumon Evolution line and dorbickmon. Happy for jijimon and hoping to see babamon too.
I want to see Gaossmon and if he have synergy with Thomas because of the "gao" in his name.

Already a ton of cool Digimon teased for this set. Xros wars has many really nice designs, I'm so happy they've been given proper levels so they fit in with the rest of the franchise and can be used more.

Blue Kiriha implies Blue Agumon though, and he's not in that color yet, so that's a thing.

Not necessarily Agumon. Kiriha already has two associated Child, Dracomon and Gaossmon. Not to mention, the latter is implied to be the Agumon-parallel for Xros Wars Greymon, being a small blue reptile with a Kilo attack (in theme with [Decker/Metal]Greymon's Mega/Giga/Tera attacks).

Ah right, I was too hung up on "Blue Flare" being Kiriha's signature colour. ZekeGreymon's Hyper Coliseum card had his field listed as "Metal Empire" so Kiriha being in Black does seem very likely. Blue could actually go to Takeru seeing as Angemon became a Blue card in the last Set.

I'm sticking to my guns on a potential Green Nene though. Sparrowmon's Hyper.C card had Nature Spirits as the field and despite the TV heads, I feel Nature fits Monitamon's ninja aesthetic better. Thus I think that's enough logic for them to stick Nene in the Green faction.

Of course this is all purely hypothetical. We all assumed that Agnimon being on the front of "Great Legend" guaranteed the Frontier crew as Tamer cards and look at how that ended up.
