The Digimon Card Game Twitter has updated with a card preview from Booster Set 10 Xros Encounter. This time it's BloomLordmon & Gran del Sol.

BloomLordmon features artwork of it appearing to use it's signature attack Gran Del Sol, while Gran Del Sol is... BloomLordmon doing Gran Del Sol.

So it turned out as BloomLordmon's hairstyle isn't death hairstyle. Huh and finally got to see what its helmet shape look like. I didn't expect to it look weird below the hat. But I'm so glad my patience finally rewarded me well! Now Vulturemon's turn to get his card and other certain ones will soon have their cards!

The Rockman fanboy in me can't help but read that attack as Gun del Sol... Though if BloomLord is Django... who would Sabata be?

Silliness aside yeah I like the look of this as others have said I'm torn on Toropia or Ajatar for Bloom lord because both work in their own way- same for hydramon.

Toropia has the tropical aspect the vibrant flowers, turning into a valiant knight well that seems to be the dinosaur/dragon thing to do right?
Though at the same time being more Dinosaur/dragon like going from Toropia>Hydramon is an equally fitting transition. After all I can't help but see Hydra being to bloomlord as Megidra is to Dukemon.

On the Ajatar front we have the more humanoid shape that lends itself to BloomLord, yet there is a sense of wildness and savagery that realy fits with Hydramon.

I was awake when the card was revealed on Twitter but I was too tired to want to stay up and write the translation lol.

I was just thinking earlier this week how we never got to see BloomLordmon bloomed so I'm happy these arts shows us that!

I know many people think BloomLordmon looks masculine but he looks really androgynous in this card art here which is something I like.

BloomLordmon has a pretty stellar design, definitely one of my favorite new Digimon to come out in recent memory. Just nice to see a Mega for Fairy/Plant type lines that's a bit different from what we usually get for that role. Same would go for Hydramon, so here's hoping they also get a card in this set to compliment BloomLord.

Rockman ? Don’t you mean Boktai ?

Yes but if not for the EXE games having Sol Rockman I never would of discovered Boktai3, plus I've only played a tiny bit of 3 (got it to unlock SolRockman) and a tiny tiny bit of the sadly neutered Lunar Knights

Kind of bummed we didn't get to see BloomLordmon from the left or back since those are the parts of its design we haven't actually seen yet. The art's very pretty though, and it's nice we got to see what the lance looks like when it blooms, but it leaves a lot to be desired since the perspective isn't very good at showing off the stamen and pistil or Gran del Sol's blade.

And it's just me nitpicking but the design for the top half of the hat is noticeably wrong in both arts compared to the official art (on top of differing from each other) and the lance's petals are like half the size they should be.

Looks like it supports the Argomon and Shivamon archetypes pretty well since both are all about suspending your own digimon.

I'd prefer it to be Alraumon's Mega. Floramon, like Palmon, has been pretty femininely coded in every appearance, while BloomLordmon is clearly supposed to me more masculine, (at least compared to the likes of Rosemon, Lotusmon, and Raflessiamon) and Pomumon works better for Hydramon IMO.

Honestly, my ideal line for BloomLordmon would be Alraumon>Petermon>Atajarmon>BloomLordmon.
I'd really like a future anime to flip the script and have the flower/fairy Digimon be partnered with a boy and eventually evolve to BloomLordmon.

It's hard to quantify BloomLordmon as either feminine or masculine outside of its name, it's literally just a plant growing out of a suit of armor. It's also a bit funny to list Ajatarmon and Alraumon as part of a male coded line for it when they both have female namesakes, and the former's only appearance thus far has been feminine.

It's a perfectly valid line of course, just like its more direct Pomumon line which it was made for or really any line, but it's a pretty contradictory set of logic to argue.
