BlackWarGreymon X Preview for Booster Set 11

The Digimon Card Game Twitter has updated with a card preview from Booster Set 11 Dimensional Phase. This time it's BlackWarGreymon X.

BlackWarGreymon X features a striking pose, plus Yuuya from Re:Digitize, giving some really nice framing to the image overall.

Honestly I can see there just being green Greymon, MetalGreymon and WarGreymon cards in this set, seeing as Tyranomon/MetalTyranomon/RustTyranomon in Reigitize Decode is a separate character from Taiga's partner and Taiga doesn't feature in any of their cards.

I find it pity and shame BlackWarGreymon X is mere black version while... All his previous evo lines got epic redesigns although Agumon (Black) X is more of the movie Agumon. Still, Hades Force is great thing to add for him.

Next Greek God name to add the next "Force" series of WarGreymon's Battle Techniques in the future... When?

For what it's worth, Gaiomon started development as BWG's X-Antibody form before eventually becoming it's own Digimon, and as far as the card game is concerned, is still a valid top end for the line considering Gaiomon's stats are identical to BWG X here, complete with with it being able to evolve from regular BWG and being treated as a Greymon-species card.

I kinda like how they handled this actually, as Gaiomon isn't inherently powercrept by BWG X due to how different their effects are. Gaiomon is alot more aggressive and attack-oriented due to Blitz and innate SA+1, BWG X makes for a much better defender on the opponent's turn due to it's Pseudo-Blocker effect coupling very nicely with BT-8 Greymon granting it inheritable Blocker and nuking the smallest Digimon on the opponent's side.

Gaioumon and BlackWarGreymon X co-exist in this deck I heard from the internet. I think I will try to make the deck for those two if I collect enough.

Yeah I'm aware of GaiOumon's origin history. It was really interesting.
