BlackMegaloGrowmon & ChaosDukemon Previews for Booster Set EX-04

The Digimon Card Game Twitter has updated with card previews from Booster Set EX-04 Alternative Being. This time it's BlackMegaloGrowmon & ChaosDukemon.

The (dark) Guilmon family continues! BlackMegaloGrowmon gets a card with some very nice effects work with its blades causing energy to spurt all over. ChaosDukemon gets some very nice anime styled art, with some familiar silhouettes in the background.

Makes me wonder why only Kuzuhamon line gets unique names instead of Black/Chaos prefix.

And worse, Kuzuhamon and her evo line said to be "normal" evo of Renamon....With less impressive firepower attacks but only more destructive.

Seeing Kuzuhamon there grouped with BlackSaintGalgomon and ChaosDukemon felt so weird knowing Kuzuhamon's powers.

Eh whatever. I can accept it because it's cool and extremely rare to see dark recolors of Tamers together in this card.

Dark recolors of Tamers never will have Child forms ever as such as "BlackGuilmon" or "BlackTerriermon" for all eternity.

I really want to see all previous main character but black/dark version (mega level) try to destroy new series main character in new anime ^_^

Makes me wonder why only Kuzuhamon line gets unique names instead of Black/Chaos prefix.

Well, part of it is that they probably really wanted to make the Doumon pun (it is a pretty funny pun), but part of it is that they're just not black variants of them, they have different focuses altogether - the Silver variants fall more into recolors in that they're just "dumber but faster" and "but vaccine" variants.

New ChaosGallantmon. Too bad none of it's arts will come close to it's first original BT-05 artwork for me. No, not even the parallel arts.

That card was literally the first time I really warmed up to it as a cool Digimon.
