Beelzebumon Preview for Booster Set EX-02

The Digimon Card Game Twitter has updated with a card preview from Booster Set EX-02 Digital Hazard. This time it's Beelzebumon.

Beelzebumon gets some very impressive art, with a pose that feels a bit different than what we often see for him.

So he kills lv3 Digimon. Not killing lv4 feels weird when Leomon is lv4 if this is meant to represent Tamers Beelzemon. Maybe that'd be op? But then just have him as anti Leomon instead of anti lv4 like he kills any Leomon on the field and then you can add fist of the beast to you hand or something like that. Feels like a missed reference

Somebody can correct me if I'm wrong, but based on what I read in a translation the level he kills increases by 1 for each 10 cards in your trash.

Somebody can correct me if I'm wrong, but based on what I read in a translation the level he kills increases by 1 for each 10 cards in your trash.

on evolve/attack it discards cards from your deck and deletes a lvl 3 (+1 per 10 cards in trash). which isn't too hard to get up to 10 cards with modern purple decks

Lmao imagine you were fighting Leviamon and then suddenly half way through the fight Beelzemon jumps out and shoots your partner you'd be like wtf but also think that was badass

But Leviamon doesn't have any cables in its mouth...

Honestly the teeth don't seem sharp enough to be Leviamon's or even Megidramon's. Shape wise, I do think Whamon's is still among the most fitting visuals but it is rather weird thematically. Lucemon Satan Mode has one card where he is portrayed with non-pointy teeth in his lower jaw, so maybe he could also be a possibility.

I feel like it could be Ogudomon.

Like say, Beelzemon piloting a part of Ogudomon like Power Rangers piloting a Megazord or Beelzemon seperating from a fallen Ogudomon to survive. Feels like it could check out to me.

Hopefully this Beelz is better than the first one... Just seemed like a lame card compared to mons like blitz greymon and machindramon...
