BanchoLilymon Preview for Booster Set 5

The Digimon Card Game Twitter has updated with a card preview from Booster Set 5 Battle of Omega. This time we get BanchoLilymon.

BanchoLilymon gets some really nice and crisp art on her card. We just get really nice art of her standing and staring at an unseen opponent or battlefield (or based on what you think is behind her in the background, perhaps looking away from defeated opponents...)



Digimon Card Game Booster Set 5 Battle of Omega is scheduled to release on February 26th.

They don't really need to as Lilimon from Booster Set 1 already had the Inheritable Skill "When Attacking, Rest one Opponent's Digimon (except Blockers)." So you could easily just evolve Lilimon into BanchoLilimon and attack away.

I am so happy to see Bancho Lilymon! She's not only my favorite humanoid woman digimon but also my favorite plant and fairy themed digimon! Her Sukeban references are so nice, especially as it portrays a large subgenre of bancho media. I think her jacket is also a buker gang jacket if I recall correctly? She's just one of my favorites.
As a card, she's definitely not a "boss monster" ( a fan term I've seen your win condition monster that needs to be removed by the opponent immediately or else you have a super high chance of winning) but she's amazing support that is either going to give you free security, free removal, or both. Super nice!

Now for the off topic Digimon mention, I really hope we get Bancho Mamemon this set as that makes both ReArise and Digimon Card Game where he's the only Bancho absent and which is bad luck for me as he's my favorite Bancho my profile picture is even one of his baseballs. He's also my second favorite digimon after Coronamon so haha do you see my luck?

I was thinking the same thing, but I thing op is right. Leftmost is Golemon, next over is Leomon, standing far away on some sort of rock with his sword over his shoulder. Rightmost is Stingmon, standing sideways on another spire with his jacket blowing to the left in the wind. Mammon is next to him, on yet another “thing” with his bats sticking up in the air.

Yeah I thought the same thing. I thought that Leomons entire body was just someone’s head as well, and Golemons silhouette actually really resembles Gallantmon’s.

The art is relatively plain, but she's likely to get a Parallel Art version at some point - if not in this set, then later on for sure, but she was advertised in this set.

Yuuki's personal art style and the faint fog made it a bit harder to identify the four Bancho members.

But it's easy to tell BanchoStingmon, BanchoGolemon and BanchoMamemon. BanchoLeomon was the hardest one to figure out probably my guess because of its humanoid shape and bancho costume. At least just draw up the tail or... Something feline-like.
