Today is when the first Appmon manga officially begins. So they've released a really nice looking promotional image/poster.
Digimon Universe: AppliMonsters is the manga counterpart to the upcoming anime series. The manga is by Naoki Akamine.
The manga will run monthly in V-Jump, following in the tradition of most Digimon manga.
This manga will follow the adventures of Haru, Gatchmon and various other AppliDrivers and Appmon.
We do not know if it will be an attempt at a relatively straight anime adaption, or if it will take it's own path with the characters (ala the Xros Wars manga.)
The art has a unique fun look to it. It looks a bit... professional but naturally unpolished? If that makes sense. (The linework is very unique and hard to describe... that's the main issue I'm having coming up with a short description of it.)
It's more comedic counterpart, Appmon Gakuen! will begin in Saikyo Jump on October 1st (the same day the anime premieres.)
