Antyramon Preview for Booster Set 3

New card preview from the Digimon Card Game!

The Digimon Card Game Twitter has updated with a new card preview from Booster Set 3 Union Impact. This time it's Antyramon!

Antyramon appears to have just finished a spin attack in the card. It also shows a bit more personality than we often get to see, since it's head is often angled in such a way to cover the mouth. Makes it a slightly more dynamic look to the Digimon than art and cards tends to show us.



Digimon Card Game Booster Set 3 Union Impact is scheduled to release on October 30th.

everything about this art is very clean. Not really much to say other than the artist's art being very nice to look at

edit: I thought of more to say. An already existing level 5 with 8,000 DP who costs 7 to play and 2 to evolve does in fact see a lot of play in a tier 1 deck and that card is the Red Lavogaritamon.
The reason Lavogaritamon sees this play is because of Red Omnimon turbo (Blue also has an Omnimon Turbo) which involves the strategy of getting Omnimon out as fast as possible which means evolving as fast as possible. Yellow getting Andiramon who has the exact same stats as a Digimon good enough for tier 1 deck is nice but unfortunately Yellow doesn't have its own Omnimon just yet, only the amazing ShineGreymon, but I'm not sure how my ShineGreymon homies feel about Andiramon just yet. I'm not sure if Mastemon or Cherubimon decks are in as much of a rush to reach level 6 to play Andiramon either

I guess they wanted to save the Deva version for a Tamers themed set or something? Or maybe it's a bungled Hurricane Touchdown theme and you go from Lopmon to Wendimon to Antyramon to Cherubimon (Virtue)?

Based on the rest of them the dub should've spelled it Antyramon as all the deva, with the exception of Vikaralamon (which should prob be Vikararamon) end in "ra". (Mihiramon, Kumbhiramon etc)

I don’t think I’ve ever seen Evil Antylamon with its mouth open, it’s actually even more off putting then when it’s just closed staring menacingly

Seems weird how common romaji is Andiramon when the Japanese spelling is アンティラモン (Antiramon)

That's because the official Reference Book chose to spell it's romanisation as "Andiramon" and who are we to contradict them...unless it's something really stupid like "RagnaLoardmon" anyways.
