Digimon Adventure: episode 49, The God of Evil Descends, Millenniumon, is a few hours away from starting in Japan, and elsewhere a few hours after that, so we get a nice stack of preview screenshots from the Digimon_TV Twitter (2).

The fact that it's all white and glowing could mean it's becoming the Chimairamon cloak that Milleniummon has.

Oh... I'm glad to see Chimeramon getting more appearances but I fear he is just there to exist after done Akira Transformation then turn into complete form as Milleniummon.

I'm hoping Chimeramon to show up in the battle at least....

I imagine MetalGarurumon will take on Griffomon while the Perfects fight Kimeramon.

I wouldn't mind Lilymon shining during the fight, it would make up for the original series where she appeared way too late to be of any use.

Yes and hopefully holyangemon will help metalgarurumon too, he didn't do much till now.
And I really hope they reuse the new evolution animation for lillymon that Naotoshi shida did in episode 37, it is so beautiful!

Huh, thinking about it Sephirothmon turning into Chimairamon is actually kind of neat: All of the Digimon needed for the parts were stuck in the sphere when they were gathering data. I'm guessing what will happen next is that after Chimairamon is complete they'll add Mugendramon's data to the form and complete it and then Milleniummon's spirit will take the vessel.

Also, I'm looking forward to the Hikari and Mimi interaction. Mimi's been a great character in this show so I'm hoping she'll bounce off of Hikari well.
