A few Digimon Adventure 02: The Beginning updates.

First up, a selection of (mostly new), screencaps from the film!

The use of color especially comes across well, and the film is looking pretty nice visually.

Update- Digimon Partners made a Twitter thread with some of the images, and various descriptions:
In addition to Daisuke & V-mon, and Ken & Wormmmon, who have fallen on a road, is Lui, the mysterious young man who holds the key to the story... Now the secret of the birth of the Chosen Children and Digimon is revealed!

-Daisuke & V-mon are training at a ramen shop.
-Ken & Wormmon continue to study for the police exam.
-Miyako & Hawkmon are studying in India.
-Iori & Armadimon have started working part time at a law firm
-Takeru & Patamon are studying literature.
-Hikari & Tailmon are learning about early childhood education
-Lui
-Ukkomon, who Lui says was his former partner Digimon

The Loppi ticket dispensing service at Lawson stores has begun to sell advanced tickets for Digimon Adventure 02: The Beginning.

Tickets are currently on sale for 1,600 yen.
They also sell a set for 4,240 yen that includes an 02: The Beginning water bottle by Rivers Stout Air.
These are on sale through October 26th, right before the movie comes out.

You can also purchase the water bottle along for 2,640 yen through November 5th.

HMV is also selling the water bottle online. (2)

The water bottle features the movie logo, the silhouettes of the 7 main Digimon from the film, and all 9 crest symbols of the 02 kids.


Regardless of how you purchase, the water bottle arrives around January 20th, 2024. Standalone water bottle pre-orders will be done through November 5th.

Digimon Partners has swapped their social media to have a V-mon and movie logo icon, along with a wide version of the movie poster for a banner.

I think my favorite shot is the one where almost everyone is frowning, but Armadimon and Patamon are grinning, probably on account of their childish personalities. Also, the sidewalk does not look like a very comfortable place to nap (though I have stargazed in my driveway before).

Hopelly Toei will dub rhis movie. But I am guessing it wont be till some time next year for the rest of us

That’s the nice thing about not watching the dub. Much shorter waits.

Unless you live in Japan. we have to wait for to be released on Japan BD which be sometime next year as well ether way

The official subbed release of Kizuna came the same exact day as the official dubbed release on the same DVD. The wait was identical, and could be the same for this movie too. So those waiting to see Kizuna subbed waited the same amount of time as those wanting to see it dubbed.
