Digimon Adventure 02: The Beginning poster update!

For marketing purposes they've taken the existing poster key art, and made versions that show off Chosen Children Duo with their jogresses for the 02 kids, and Lui and Ukkomon on a 4th poster.


Nothing much else to go over for these, just a better look at the previous key art in these new formations.

Perhaps Toei wants to keep new evolutions a surprise.
I believe that new evolutions for Ukkomon may appear in the movie.

I would love to see I-dramon PM but almost certainly not since it would require Omegamon's power and seeing as how "Last Evolution Kizuna" was the original cast's last adventure, it isn't likely to ever appear again in this continuity. Aside from I-dramon, I would like to see the Ultimate forms of Silphymon and Shakkoumon but probably not going to happen. I wasn't the biggest fan of jogress evolution back in the day but I hope this opens the door for more stories in the Adventure world and maybe a retelling or outright retcon of the cursed 02 epilogue.

As I recall, the producer of Kizuna (I think it was Takebe?) has outright said that the epilogue is still canon and that’s what we’re still headed towards. We also know 02: The Beginning has Cody studying law, Kari studying early education, Ken trying to get into a police academy, and Davis following his noodle cart dream - so it very much seems to follow here, too.

I thought they were hiding new evos. That's what you do. I expect at least one new level from 3 of them. Not counting Ukkomon of course.

I think it's very doubtful that Last Evolution was the 01 cast's last adventure.

Like, I know it has the word 'last' in the title, and I suspect it probably made a big deal in marketing about being their last story, but titles are just titles and marketing is just marketing, they aren't legally binding contracts. The end of 02 was also meant to be the end of the story, and we're now in the run-up to the ninth Adventure continuity movie released since then.

Why not? They might be stronger that way even as Perfects, honestly. The 02 kids were kicking the shit out of Perfects using only their Adult forms and Jogressing is supposed to be a noteworthy power boost over normal evolution when used this way (in the Adventure continuity at least)

Well, Kizuna itself had a lot of stuff in the ending sequence that pointed towards the epilogue still being canon.

Would be a first when Mercy Mode and the Bond forms were all over merch before Tri/Kizuna

Adventure and 02 kids are studying towards the careers they have in the Epilogue. Miyako is the only exception since it's never mentioned she has a career.

So, it's pretty clear the story is still heading towards the epilogue. Adventure kids are separated from their Digimon in Kizuna, but there is still plenty of time to find a way to meet again.
