Pupumon is caught off guard from the loud noise and backs away. If Pupumon had a method of escape it surely would take it. At least you taught it the cruelty of the world.

It seems to understand what you mean and takes in the other Pupumon as its rival. The other seems unaware of this Pupumon's existence.

It sniffs the chocolate carefully. After realizing it's food, it takes a bite. The sweetness helps the poor digimon.

Despite the fact that it's H. P. Lovecraft, Pupumon barely understands what the plot is and seems to like the idea of being a read a bedtime story more than the actual bedtime story. Thank god it doesn't understand a lot of English quite yet.
