As the Savers dub continued onward, the media for Digimon in Japan once again began to reduce itself to a small trickle, thus reminding the oldbies of the Post-Frontier era once more. The fanbase began to grow with anticipation, however, as Digimon Championship was confirmed for the states. But with no mention of Digimon in V-Jumps during the summer, things seemed to be dead for Digimon in Japan, which in turn, began to show signs of a redux of the boards' post-frontier era activity.

However, with the acquiring of X-Evo's boards, the community seems to have seen a new influx of members. This in turn has once again brought up the activity in the general boards, thus avoiding the dead time the boards experienced during post-frontier.
