3rd Vital Bracelet Series Teaser appears to be Digimon

The third of the Vital Bracelet Series teasers became animated enough that you can make out what appears to be a well known recent digitama, so Digimon!


The text teaser that originally read "Be Strong With...", and then changed last night to "Be Strong With U..." and "Be Strong With K..." now reads "Be Strong With D..."

Looks like my expectations were in the right place for these teases, but overall it's really nice to see that Digimon is technically being included as an equal to Kamen Rider and Ultraman, though there's a pretty logical reason for that given the actual history of the VB itself lol.

- Then two for Digimon; an Angolamon/Jellymon (duo) one and a Gammamon one. Whatever those may be.

I think we can still expect more than a handful of new designs this year, the silhouette included.

The Digivice-V is supposedly related to the new anime, being used by the main protagonist, but listings are listings. No confirmation, even if we are already so close to all of it being confirmed.
Angolamon and Jellymon are paired together in a set of DIM cards, the V2 set. Gammamon is V1, so the V here refers back to the Digivice-V name.
Villainmon was listed on the Malaysian site that's been mentioned here and on Twitter as V3, but we haven't see anything regarding that for a while now.
Gammamon, Angolamon, and Jellymon all have toys from the same toyline as the recent Impulse City and other chibi-cage figures available for pre-order on Okini.Land.

There's a few more minor things, but I assume the focus is less on the toys and more on what new things we're getting lol. Ultraman is getting its own, supposedly red, VB, and that's been soft-confirmed already, with the Tiga VBM. The set of VBM also being sold is Zero and Zetton. Kamen Rider Kuuga is the VBM that's coming with the green VB (also soft-confirmed), with the Zero-One SIDE:Zea and SIDE:Arc VBM set. Note that VBM is being used instead of DIM, since these are Vital Bracelet Memory cards and not Digimon Memory cards (for obvious reasons lol).

Keep in mind, we don’t know what any of this actually means. For all we know, Gammamon might be a new Ultimate/Mega for Agumon lol.

Just 4 more days now for this countdown, but I think it’s just 3 to DigiFes, so we might see an anime announcement there first. Being patient is about all we can do for now.

Wonder if there will be any upgrades or if it's still functionally the same device. I certainly don't mind upgrading (especially if we got something that was waterproof...) but I haven't had nearly enough time with the current one, so if this one lacks any backwards compatibility (either with the app or the Dim cards) that'll be pretty annoying.

Interesting, thanks for clarification! Let's hope the hypothetical new anime sticks to the current, more old-school, design philosophy for its Digimon.

Also good to see soft-confirmation about the other franchises being their own thing, separate from the Dim's.

And if it's a reboot of Adv: 2, connected to Adventure's reboot, the 'V' could also triple as symbolising Veemon.

Just a random thought, of course. There might be a different universe with different characters and partners altogether for all we know.

I'm not sure if we'll get a new Vital Bracelet; There are no pre-order rumours for those yet.

When I first saw the V rumors I kept thinking this would be the perfect way to release the V-Tamer Digivice as a Vital Bracelet spinoff, but I’ll keep dreaming…

• A type of cat, either the aforementioned Turkish Angora or the British Angora.
• Other animals such as the Angora Ferret, Rabbit and Goat. Or possibly the Angolan Mongoose.
• Capoeira Angola, a type of martial art.
• Doubtful Bandai'd go there, but Angola is a city in the Book of Mormon so it could be an angel or something.
• Even less likely but Angola is also a type of shawl.

Although capoeira has roots in Angola it is more commonly associated with Brasil, at least world wide, besides, I dout Bandai would name a digimon after the country of origin and not the sport itself.

Digimon does have a lot of mons based on christian mythology so it wouldn't be that much of a strech, but if had to bet, it is probably based on the cat breed mentioned.
