tri. Part 5 Theatrical Run Extension & New Gift Announced at Screening Event

tri. Part 5 has had it's theatrical run extended!

Week 4 will have a new theater gift that was announced and shown off during one of the post-screening events with Natsuki Hanae and Daisuke Namikawa that was streamed.

The new theater gift is a postcard drawn by longtime Digimon designer Kenji Watanabe!

Update- We have a translation of the text.

Agumon: This angle should be about right... your timing is great!
Tailmon: Agumon... that's kind of how you are, aren't you?
Tentomon: Do you really need to practice for this?

The gift was announced at the event by the MC, at which point they put up text explaining what it would be before showing it off.

It was at this point Hanae decided to joke around and commented on how amazing the illustration was, along with how fantastic the simplicity appeared.

After Hane's joking at the announcement text, they showed off the image of the postcard above.

This postcard will begin to be given out on Saturday, October 21st. They will be given out until that week ends (or they run out of stock at the theaters.)

The first 3 weeks of theater gifts can be found here.

In addition, at the event, Hanae and Namikawa discussed a small blooper that happened during the recording of Part 1.

An account and explanation thanks to shin...

Hanae: "While we were recording for Part 1 (Reunion), Daigo's line in the script where he's calling Taichi's name had 'Yagami '八神 mistakenly rendered as 矢神 , so [Namikawa] read it out as "Hey, Shisshin!"*"
Namikawa commented that "'Shisshin'... the context for it seems a bit weird doesn't it?" but apparently decided to continue along with what the script said at the time.

While the kanji can be read separately as "Ya" and "[ga]mi", the usual reading of 失神 is actually しっしん/Shisshin (faint/loss of consciousness)

They also decided to amuse (and terrify) the audience with a tri. related pun by finishing a statement with the word try/tri. (Namikawa apparently instigated this, likely for his own amusement.)

Thanks to garm for the translation of the image.

Update- Put a better quality image up above, original image is below.

Practicing for a fight, maybe? Tentomon looks nervous and Agumon has that odd black mark (a cut?) on the side of his head.
