Products For Sale In Theaters Showing tri. Part 5, Plus Midnight Screenings!

When tri. part 5 is in theaters in Japan, the theaters showing it will also have various products for sale in the lobby (or a gift shop.)

Some of these are newly made for the theatrical release of tri. part 5, others are new versions of old products, and others are things that have been available for awhile.

The images of everything will be posted, but we will only detail the stuff that appears to be new, or at least exclusive to the theaters...

They apparently took it as a challenge to blow out what they did last time, which was basically 100 products. This time it's over 110.

First up (the image is up above) is the theater souvenir pamphlet/booklet for tri. Part 5. It's A4 size (8.27 x 11.69 inches) and is 32 pages. It contains a roundtable discussion between Ayumi Miyazaki, AiM, and Michihiko Ohta, along with comments from the cast and other staff.. It costs 820 yen.

This is the first of the big product boards. This will most likely be put on display at each theater. If an item isn't available at that theater, or is sold out, they will then stamp a label on the item on the board to let customers know.

As mentioned above, we will only go over the items we believe to be new.

1- This is a clear folder that is A4 sized. It has art on both sides and is metallic. It's 486 yen.

2- A metallic set of pin badges featuring the crests of courage and friendship. Each is roughly 1.1 x 1.1 inches. The set is 1,080 yen.

3, 4- Patamon and Tailmon pens. Each is roughly 5.3 inches long and costs 750 yen each.

5- This is a clear folder holder featuring art of the kids and Digimon. When opened it's roughly 19.7 x 13.3 inches. It costs 1,200 yen.

6- This is a pamphlet holder, it holds various souvenir pamphlet/booklets that you've collected.

11 thru 14- These aren't new, but are high priority items if you are going to be there. These are the souvenir pamphlet/booklets for tri. Parts 1 thru 4. Each is 820 yen.

22, 23- Omegamon and Ophanimon Falldown Mode keychains! These are both made to look nice and reflective. Each is roughly 2.3 inches and costs 900 yen.

26- These 11 large can badges (2.9 inches) have recently shown up. Taichi and WarGreymon will only be sold at the theaters. THey are 432 yen each and randomly packed.

38- This is a small tri. themed mobile phone pouch. It's roughly 4.4 x 5.9 inches and costs 2,000 yen.

39- This tri. themed mug is roughly 3.5 inches tall and 3.5 inches in diameter. It costs 1,500 yen.

40- This canvas board features the theatrical poster art for tri. Part 5 and is roughly 10.7 x 8.6 inches. It costs 3,500 yen.

41- This tri. themed mobile phone case appears to not be made for any specific model and acts as a folio case that will work as long as your phone fits. It's roughly 3.1 x 5.9 inches and costs 2,300 yen.

    42- A spiral/ring notebook that measures roughly 5 x 7.1 inches. It costs 800 yen.

43, 44- These are AC adapters with 2 USB plugs on them. One features the poster art for tri. Part 5, the other features a design featuring the crests. Each is roughly 2.1 x 3.5 x .6 inches and costs 1,200 yen.

45, 46- These are retractable USB cables. There is one labeled as for iPhone, the other for Android phones (I would assume micro USB for Android.) The main piece is roughly 2.75 inches with a 31.5 cable when unspooled. Each is 1,400 yen.

47 thru 51- These wooden keychains each have a tri. theatrical poster printed on them. Each is roughly 2.75 x 2 inches and costs 650 yen.

That's it for the new stuff.... on board 1...

Board 2! Because they needed more space.

Most of the items on board 2 appear to be recent items or items being brought back from awhile ago.

103 thru 110- These smartphone rings are attachable stands for your smartphone themed after the partner Digimon. Each is roughly 1.4 x 1.8 x .3 inches and costs 1,620 yen.

111- This double cross stitched mini towel features the tri. Part 5 theatrical poster art and measures roughly 7.9 x 7.9 inches. It costs 756 yen.

112- This big (they call it giga sized) microfiber towel also features the tri. Part 5 theatrical poster art. It measures roughly 28.3 x 40.1 inches and costs 8,640 yen.

    The last exclusive product is...

The Digimon Adventure tri. Part 5 Theater Version Blu-ray. As expected, this isn't listed on the board above because it will be extremely limited. Information about this can be found in our article about the tri. part 5 Blu-ray release.

Various items that aren't new that will be sold in the theaters have been at DigiFes 2017, the 4th tri. pop-up shops, and the 2nd Kiddy Land event, among others (including earlier pop-up shops and the original Kiddy Land event.)

Most of these items will go on sale on September 29th at 10pm, which is a bit early since screenings begin on September 30th, but there is a reason for that...

    Image Thumbnail (custom)

In addition to the products, it's been announced 5 of the theaters showing tri. Part 5 will have midnight screenings as September 30th begins.

They don't confirm which theaters for some reason, but they say to check with the theaters.

Theater gifts will be given out during these screenings but the tri. Part 5 Theater Version Blu-ray will not be available to buy until 'normal' screenings later that day.

You'll want to contact an intermediary to get these items sent to you. WtW is not affiliated with any, but here are a selection of intermediaries that have worked well for various WtWers and their friends in the past:From Japan
    Rider Proxy
    Nippon-Yasan

Be aware many intermediaries do not carry items from theater shops since they can't be ordered online. You will need to ask them and explain what you want very carefully (perhaps with a photo.)

They may in fact not be willing to go to the theaters at all to purchase the items, so be aware of this.

Some of the intermediaries have a full store front and may have the item listed, so you may want to check that first.

Thanks to garm for translated details and helping me look at which which products appear to be new.
