tri. Part 2 UK Blu-ray Packaging Shot- Poster and Art Cards

Been about a month since the last UK tri. news!

We knew the tri. part 2 Blu-ray in the UK would be a collector's edition with a slipcover, reversible cover, art cards and a poster, much like their release of Part 1.

Now we have images of the poster and art cards via HMV adding a product overview image.

No image of the reversible cover yet, but we expect it'll be the tri. Part 2 theatrical poster.

It looks like a very nice release.

We expect most on disc details to be roughly similiar to the American release, which we reviewed and went over here.

The Blu-ray and DVD for tri. Part 2 is still scheduled for November 6th in the UK.

The Blu-ray, as mentioned above, is a collector's edition.
The DVD is a standard release.

The MSRP is currently showing as 24.99 for the Blu-ray and 19.99 for the DVD.

And if you want to pre-order it early.... (Not affiliate links)

Details can of course still change, but with the US release having been sold early at a few events, with it's official release a week and a half away, hopefully there are no delays for tri. Part 2 in the UK.

The prior thread for tri. Part 2 in the UK can be found here.

I wish the US version had this stuff. Simple goodies, but easy to include. Oh well. Enjoy them anyway, UK.

It's interesting to see, person by person, what things people prefer.

Ironically I know quite a few people in the US who want the poster and/or art cards and a good number of UKers who would prefer a DRM-Free digital copy.

Honestly, the poster and art cards seem nice to me, but they'd probably go in a box somewhere. The digital copy is more potentially useful to me.

I guess we always want the things we can't have

Haha, fair point. I didn't even realize that this doesn't have a digital copy. I think I'd still prefer the goodies, since you can always figure out how to rip a DVD (not encouraging it, but still). It's just dressing anyway. Getting the movie is the best part.

Being able to rip or not, having access to it via a streaming platform regardless of what you do/don't do is a nice thing.

Yes, they could, Amazon UK even will ship to the USA.

It's a Region B disc while the USA is Region A, so it won't play without a Region free or Region B player though (I don't have the UK disc on hand to say if it's 'really' locked or not, but I would assume it is.)

If someone wanted to import to get the goodies it would be quite easy.
