tri. Part 1 Blu-ray and DVD Coming to Australia in July

North American and UK fans have known for awhile we'd be getting Digimon Adventure tri. on disk...

Well don't worry those of you in Australia, it's your turn now.

Madman in Australia has listed Digimon Adventure tri. Part 1 on their 'Business 2 Business' catalog website with the full title of "Digimon Adventure Tri. Part 1 - Reunion"

    Blu-ray
    DVD

Not a lot of info yet, but...

The expected release date is July 5th. Blu-ray will be $40 and DVD will be $30

Both are listed as one disk (so no combo for the Blu-ray it appears) with both English and Japanese audio, and English subtitles.

Most of the information appears to be relatively basic stand-in info (including using the original tri. poster art for the covers, with the BD image being horribly squashed) and the plot description being the straight translation version Toei had used for awhile.

The expectation should probably be that, much like the UK disk, the US Shout Factory materials will be used as a base.

Glad our Aussie friends will be able to join us with having tri. on disk.

The USA/NA release from Shout Factory is out May 16th.
The UK release from Manga UK will be out May 22nd.

Thanks to our friend WTK at Fandom Post for the heads up.

Why does the poster looks different? Or is it just me?

The color palette is more muted, and various bits of Japanese text in the top right and bottom are missing.

They were likely give this by Toei to be used as stand in art until they are sent proper assets.
