what is an "normal" Mega digimon?

On the wiki, the Digimon Sovereigns page it stated that the sovereigns were "difficult to overthrow with the power of ordinary Mega Digimon".
Also, Belphemon Rage Mode's roar is so powerful the ultimate and below will disintegrate, and "not even normal megas can escape unharmed".

All the Megas are powerful, so what is considered a normal mega?

I guess one that isn't associated with an elite group? It's kinda a weird line to find.

Yeah, I'd say... any Ultimate that evolves from a Perfect and isn't one of the big guns like the Holy Beasts, Royal Knights, or Seven Great Demon Lords.

Well, Normal Ultimate (Mega)... MaringAngemon, Babamon, Jijimon, Ebemon, SaberLeomon, MetalEtemon... these and others would consider normal "mega".

normality is always relative I guess. You take the range of strange of strength of all possible Ultimate(mega) Digimon and look for the average, then define some margin of error in which you would define a Digimon's strength as normal whereas everyone not included would be "exceptional" in either direction.
Of course as power levels in the Digimon universe go up the exact definition of what is considered "normal" logically changes with that.
