Hey guys, I was interested in using an Arduino to communicate with an original v-pet... I was wondering if you had done anything with this recently
It would be cool to at least get a look at that zip file if you still had a copy around, but it seems the link is now dead after all this time.

I've updated the link. The zip file is on Google Drive now so it shouldn't expire.

Is it possible to make a 2vpet fight over the internet? such as make a terminal interface device that send and resive data.

BladeSabre would be the one to answer your question.
Think i read this somewhere, the communication between 2 devices over a long distance would take too long and create an error on device.

This would be super cool though.

As BetamonZ says, there is an issue with the time delay.

You sort of could, but it would be more like transferring a copy of the Digimon over the internet and fighting that.

Hi all! Any owners of this device plus a Pendulum 20th who'd be willing to help me out with collecting the profile data? (On the V-Pet 20th, I did all of them myself, but there's now nearly 3x as many Digimon!)
    https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...Ey4/edit#gid=0

My attempt so far at documenting the 20th V-Pet and Pendulum signals
    https://docs.google.com/document/d/1...2Tk1IYch8/edit

New update to dmcomm.ino (required for the profile data collection)
    https://drive.google.com/file/d/1LTU...ew?usp=sharing

In the codes, in place of a normal digit "x" it can now take:
@x meaning a check digit giving a total of x
^x meaning take the corresponding digit from the last received packet and xor it with x

The ^ token is for doing battle codes which let the real V-Pet go first and decide who wins.
    Original V-Pet MetalGreymon: V2-B34C-F^30^3
Any Original V-Pet V2-code: replace 2nd and 4th digit of 2nd packet each with ^3
    Original Pendulum Phantomon: V2-211F-000F-0^1^FF-@BABF
Any Original Pendulum V2-code: replace 2nd-3rd digit of 3rd packet with ^1^F, and replace 1st digit of 4th packet with @B
(PenProg and PenX battles should go the same way but I haven't confirmed yet. Looks like I'll actually need to do something else for the Pendulum 20th. V-Pet 20th doesn't care about the hit bits from the one who goes second, so it worked already.)
