Here are a few ideas for Bokomon and Neamon. Some are my own ideas but I also included things I've seen in this thread. I'm sorry I can't remember who said what, I'm only posting it for completions sake. I'm terrible with names, lol.

Some things to consider:

Bokomon has a pink belt in the middle of his body like Fairymon and also has pointy ears like fairy Digimon and both debuted in Frontiers. .I tried to think of a hybrid Digimon for Neamon but I could only think of Chackmon, which I used for Boko too.

I thought of a few after I uploaded everything. Pilomon would make a good Adult form for Neamon. Nea means sleepy, he's wearing longjohns and has sleepy eyes. Bastemon would make a good Perfect form but I don't know of anything to use for its adult form. Maybe Mikemon or Witchmon?

Besides the obvoius similarities between Witchmon and Phantomon, they both have an eyeball on their cloaks.

If you remember from Frontier's Bokomon had a book with all the knowledge of the Digital World recorded in it. From Ba'almon's profile. "Its mantle is covered in amulets from all times and places, and it is said that on those amulets are written solutions for every problem, so that with that wealth of information it is able to completely defend against any attack." Wisemon has a similar book.



This might be a little old but I think Targetmon is strangely a good choice for Gokuwmon. Both were created around the same time. From the last thread I think someone mentioned that the fire on his head could be a reference to how Son Gokuw was born from a volcano and the Z o his forehead could be a reference to Dragonball Z. They both have a similar aesthetic with belts, although that is a common in Digimon. The only problem I have with Targetmon evolving into Etemon is that Etemon would lose a lot of the details like zipper, belt torn clothes, visorand shoes. Hanumon and other monkey digimon (pretty much all of them actually) make a good choice though. I like using Burgamon (the yellow regular one) for Hanumon's rookie too sometimes. I have a few new ideas though. It may be a coincidense but Gokuwmon has stuffed animals on his belt like how Etemon has a Monzaemon plush on his side.

I also think that Gankoo/Gankuumon is the best choice for Gokuwmon. (I have no idea which spelling is correct by the way.) They are both based on Chinese stories and mythology/history. They both have a very similar colourscheme. They are both clad in leather suits and are very humanoid. Animal > Human doesn't bother me much since it happened a lot back in Digimon Tamers. The biggest example is probably Renamon's line. I like to consider Hackmon and Gokuwmon related like Agnimon and AncientGreymon. I'm not familiar with Journey to the West but after growing up with Dragonball I just associate dragons with those mythos.

Awhile back it was mentioned that Beelzebub is a fallen Cherub which made me notice the similarities between Impmon and Turiemon and Bitmon. They all have scarves and gloves. Although I think for Bitmon the gloves are there because it's Tailmon's evolution. I noticed that even Maildramon has Tailmon looking gloves.

I also made a line for Salamon as a counterpart to a Patamon line I thought of awhile back. Thoughts?

I like Shoutmon to Wisemon (they have the same face!) and Gokuwmon line.

You forgot to mention, flintlock, that Baalmon also has the Red Book of Appin. By the way, Wizarmon has a book of forbidden knowledge on him, according to the Adventure novelization. It's the reason he was kicked out of Witchelny.

The only problem I can see with Gokuwmon to Gankoomon is that the latter has such a dragon-based theme going on. By the way, his profile says that Hinukamui (the aura emerging from him) is in the process of evolving from the Adult level. I don't know if that puts it somewhere between Adult and Perfect or what, but whatever it's evolving from and evolving to could go between the Child Hackmon and the Ultimate Gankoomon.

I like connecting Impmon to Cherubimon. They both resemble jesters, and then there's the connection between Beelzebumon and Cherubimon.

In light of Gomamon warp digivolving to Vikemon in the Digimon Adventure RPG, I've heard many fans making theories about what Shakkoumon could evolve to if Vikemon was changed for an alternate Mega/Ultimate. Now I know this might not be the case, since we know digimon can become the same Mega... but just for the sake of discussion.

I've heard ClavisAngemon and SlashAngemon put forward as possibilities (I'd go with ClavisAngemon out of those).

Vikemon kind of goes well with Armadillomon and Ankylomon, mainly due to the colours and his Morning Star reminds me of Ankylomon's tail... but still, you'd think with Shakkoumon he's become something more holy.

What do you guys think?
