Data Squad Promo

Here's the promo folks, thanks to PCmon from our forums.


And Jeff Nimoy has confirmed that it is DNA Charge, the decision was made above him at some point inbetween them finishing the game and starting the show, so the game will be Digisoul Charge, and the show will be DNA Charge.

The promo's not that bad, actually. The logo is nice.

Masaru's voice sounds really weird. A little bit too much exclamation.

I wonder why they showed Yatagaramon in almost the first frame of the promo.

He doesn't show up till I think episode 25, kinda of a spoiler.

I guess for all the general audience (kids) knows, Yatagaramon could just be an enemy Digimon. It's hard to notice Keenan on his back anyway >.>

I saw a much longer one today, it had "DNA Charge" and stuff of GeoGreymon talking. (Yes, it seems Brian can do a big, burly dinosaur as well as he can the little kobun)  It even referenced Marcus by name.  Seemed more of an expansion on this one, though, but it put so many clips from future episodes and just the Gizmon alone reeked of spoilers. XP  I'm almost surprised they didn't flat-out put Kurata or the Bio Trio in there.

I'm going to be in Sakuya's camp on this one.

If they did show a clip of the bio trio I don't think it would be to good. I mean think about it the instant they show a commercial featuring Kurata and the bio trio, well say hello to idiotville, there are bound to be a couple people that would go "It's a sequal to the forth season!"

I'm just waiting for people to show up and go "Did you know that there is going to be a new season of Digimon on toon disney?" And the "Is Data Squad a sequal to season 2?" Damn it where are all the noobish people for us to have a good laugh.

To bad messing with peoples minds isn't nice, otherwise I'd probalby go out and start telling random other people about the "Sequal" to the second season, just to see how many people I could get thinking that it was a sequal, and that Marcus is Tai's kid. But of course that's mean so I won't, even if it would be fun to do.

Honestly, it looks like a cheap movie trailer. |p There's same kind of outlook...
Hope the translated show itself'd be better than that trailer... |D

Actually that looked more like the usual handy work of Jetix, they have been making trailers that way since they were first formed on ABC Family.cutouts of characters put into that city setting, piece together and what not.
