I'm honestly not as freaked out over this name as a lot of people are. Although Keenan Noguchi sounds a little better, in my book. I will admit, it does feel a bit more random than Masaru -> Marcus or Tohma -> Thomas.

A bit random, but atleast better than having Crier as his name.

Keenan is such a Crier. 

His parent´s names however are not that random.
Kenji ->Kevin
Misuzu->Michelle

Keenan?  So I'm guessing Dub Falcomon will have thing for orange soda. Still it doesn't make much sense to me and the name changes still baffle me.

I agree.  I think we all panicked when we thought they'd use that as his first name.

Only problem with that is Kenan wasn't the one who loved orange soda, Kel was, so that means Falcomon should be the one humping the soda.

It's true you did mix it up but it's still funny. And that name makes as much sense as the others. So I have no problem with the name.

But I have no idea how they got that from Ikuto.

Why assume they 'got it' from Ikuto?

While generally Digimon dub names do have some connection to the japanese name it isn't always the case.
