Official Announcement for "Digimon Data Squad"

Guess who's about to get VERY busy.

I just signed on to direct "Digimon Data Squad," which is the English language version of "Digimon Savers."  The show will air this fall on Jetix.

Here are some of the cast members that you all helped me choose:

Marcus (Masaru) - Quinton Flynn
Yoshi (Yoshino) - Colleen O'Shaughnessy
Thomas (Tohma) - Crispin Freeman
Commander Sampson (Satsuma) - Jameson Price
Agumon - Brian Beacock
Miki - Stephanie Sheh
Megumi - Kate Higgins
Lalamon - Dorothy Fahn

Feel free to ask me about any other roles and I'll let you know if it's been cast yet.  I might be too busy to answer you right away, so please be patient.

QUINTON FLYNN FOR THE *WIN*!!!

Also - dude, Jamieson frickin' Price. I was all over this one! "Sampson"? A name with some strong, powerful connotations that will go well with the voice - distinctly better than being named after dried fruit.

Yoshino=Yoshi? That'll do quite nicely.

BRIAN BEACOCK as Agumon?! I am beyond gay for Brian Beacock, so this will be *awesome.*

hopefully we get dvds of this and the other seasons also

cant wait to see it

like yoshi better then the other names we heard, sounds very...saban digimonish, if there had to be name changes im glad they at least sound consistant with the earlier seasons

im curious is youve decided who ikuto is and what his name will be

and if we can get OFFICIAL confirmation on if blum is falcomon (then i can tell who my source is on that)

Steve Blum IS Falcomon.

Brianne Sidall is Ikuto.  No name yet.

Brianne is a somewhat obvious, and yet supremely awesome, choice.

Wow, so far I like the dub names. Commander Sampson sounds so prefect and awesome. The dub voice actors are also great picks.

As for Yoshino...

Well... I personally think the name we heard before, Josie, was a much better name than Yoshi. Oh well. Best of luck to you Mr. Nimoy and the team!

Kristy also sounds like an excellent choice for Chika.
