Digimon Tamers DVD-BOX Scans

A new release, and thru the forum.

Got the Tamers box less then an hour ago, and here are prettyful scans for all of you

once again, im not scanning the books themselves, partially cause im a lazy prick, and secondly, over 350 dollars.....and im not buying it again

Box 1 Cover (Inside the big box is 2 smaller boxes with the dvds inside in plastic 'pages'), the DVDs in box one have Takato, Jenrya, Ruki, and Juri on the diskart (4 disks, episodes 1-23) (new art?)

Box 2 Cover, the DVDs in box one have Ryo, Guilmon, Renamon, Terriermon, Impmon, and Culumon on the diskart (Impmon and Culumon are on one together) (5 disks, episodes 24-51) (new art?)

Box art is nice and shiny, follows the theme that the first 'Digimon Chronicle DVD Box' had, new art of the main characters with a colored border.  Looks nice, if a bit...I dunno, the kids look all nice and shiny, and their Digimon look cool, but Impmon and Culumon sorta look like someone else drew them on after as an afterthought

I'm not sure if I'm right about this, but unlike the 02 box, the 2 'smaller' dvd boxes seem to have new art, I'm not as familiar with Tamers as 02 from an art perspective, but im pretty sure it's new art, if it isn't....I'm sure McFeely or Vande or someone else will pop in and point out I'm wrong.

The booklets are....in japanese, so outside of pictures it is sort of looking at gibberish.  I'm sure the cast and crew say some nice things though (cause don't they always when a cast or crew is interviewed and they include the interviews in the set?)

Once again, like the 02 box, there is NO Toei logo on the sets box at all, find it a bit odd is all, which is why i mention it.

Video Quality is....really really fucking good, I've seen some of the old Tamers disks and the video quality was pretty junky.  These are quite nice though, expect a nice rip of the op and eds from WtW Videos.

Audio quality is pretty clear also.

Which brings me to an oddity, while the only video extras (like the 02 set) are the clean opening and ending, Tamers only has the 'final' opening as a clean op (no shadowed out digimon, and Juri and the others seen clearly.  its the same thing really, just found it out.

Any specific stuff people want screencaps of?

Hm... The art's okay, but nothing too special in my opinion. I really do like the last scan a lot though. Thanks for these!

I love the first scan! It seriously reminds me of the whole series. These are great! Thanks GOC, I appreciate the crapload of money put into this... And anyone else who helped!

Oh some very intereting scans. Seems like they also did sketches for scene where Renamon disguised as Guilmon.

they were in digimon general, but i guess i should move them into scans 'heads over to move them'

i should note, the adventure box is NOT part of the 'digimon chronicle dvd box' series

its an older box from a few years ago, they ARE doing a digimon chronicle dvd box of adventure, but it will be the last one

These are great. ^_^ Thanks for the scans. I really like all the lineart on those particular scans...maybe I should try to hunt down a Tamers artbook one of these days. XD

If there were......donations, that would be possible.

I got a whole mess of 01 and 02 stuff to scan, just havent had the time.

Ran out of funding before i got to tamers stuff, and lost out on plenty of savers stuff due to lack of funds

so if people wanna see tamers lineart, then you guys gota help by donating

Looks like it could be early art for Renamon's Baby form, maybe?

The one with the Fox Face ? It´s one of Kyubimon´s Fireballs.

Or the one that makes big Eyes and explodes ?  That would be some Dummy to show the effects of Attacks, IMO.
