I'm pretty sure that calling it "Digimon Data Squad" is a mistake by CD Japan...

But otherwise very welcome news.

I think I remember hearing something about these a while back. Is there any info on them other than their names?

The mini movies remind me of that old cartoon called wacky races. I can't wait to see them.

Who knows we might get a preview of the(possible) New Digimon series along with the movies but by than it would have been figured out if there's a new series or not.

Just as long as you linked sources appropriately (blog link, etc), you could copy/paste as much as you wanted and I wouldn't mind XD;;;;;;;;

With me back in (grad) school, I've been doing a lot of that XD; (of course adding my own input too... otherwise it's just academic plagiarism)... but news is news and crossposting should be done thoroughly Cheesy~

I rather doubt they'll be putting in any CMs on the DVD at all. Adding CMs aren't as common practice for Japanese DVDs compared to the US.

Looking at the other pieces on the DVD too, Takeuchi Junko and Kikuchi Kokoro voice the leading mice in Kikansha Yaemon... Takuya/Gomamon and Chika~ XD;

So, there's two popular seasons for the specials. Which is good since I like both.

They're not specials, really.

They're... well, they were originally the animation on rides at amusement parks. Still very curious to see them though!

Anyone looking to order from CDJapan, $5 off code is " xmas2009 ". Good til December 31 on orders over 3000 yen. 5 bucks is 5 bucks.

Grand Prix stuff has always been my personal favorite. I have more weird stuff from GP than anything else I know of. I have always wanted to see the actual video and now I finally can. Just placed my order. Thanks Splash. Nice seeing you post, especially with such nice news.

Since coupons are tied to your account, I don't know if you can just punch that in and get it unless it's actually on your account.  Go here
http://www.cdjapan.co.jp/coupon.html
enter your email address (that you're using for your account) and you'll officially receive the coupon
