I think it's a Mega, it looks like Digitamamon (it's not Devitamamon), but it has claws and a crown, and its face isn't hidden in it's shell. At least that's what I remember. Then again, look at the very first episode, "Pokemon, I choose you!" and when Ash is standing in front of his mum at the gate of Oak's lab, there is a guy there that has tears in his eyes, this could be it.

I am 23, live in Hastings, New Zealand and am a Pokemon anime fan. I used to watch Digimon when I was younger but then they took it of TV, I am looking to get back into the ol' Digibuzz again.

I have not watched anything more then season one, and even then I have not watced all the episodes.

Anyway I came here to see what I have been missing out on, find out about, well.....Digimon. I need a re-fresh after all these years.

I was recently looking at the Digimon Jintrix and Digimon Collectors cards and it made me wonder what peoples views were on the sexualisation of feminine digimon. Most masculine digimon are depicted in cool poses, while some of the feminine digimon are illustrated on their knees, bent over or lying on the floor. I have no problem with sexual imagery per-say, but there are some really cool looking digimon that I think can sometimes end up being made to look a little silly by having them sexualised in a way that is often very over the top.

One case that I know stirred a lot of talk was Rosemon in Savers. Particularly her evolution and burst mode sequences. I wasn't offended as some were, but as I said above, I thought they made her look silly, wiggling her butt at the screen. As you can probably tell by my name and avatar, Rosemon is one of my favs and even though it's undeniable that she comes across as sexy, it still bugged me a little that they felt the need to depict her in that way while her fellow ultimates had sequences that made them look powerful and cool. Fortunately Palmon's evolution sequence made her look more powerful (and I prefer her as Palmon's ultimate anyway)

As for the con itself, not many voice actors I'm familiar with except the few from retro dub Sailor Moon, though there is a digimon seiyuu attending, he did some minor roles (Ryo Horikawa; voiced Makuramon in Tamers, Phelesmon in Xros Hunters), but incase anyone wanted to know XD

To be fair, since it's the 15th anniversary, right now isn't even close to the worst we've had, with the PSP Adventures and Re:Digitize coming out relatively recent and also heading to the 3DS.
There's also those card games, Xros Wars dub and new Digimon coming out like Plutomon and Jupitermon.

But still, it's boring as heck when there's not much new material to discuss. So, as digimon fans, what do you guys do until the next "big Digimon thing"?

As for me, due to the my recent craving for Digimon(which happens at least twice a year), I actually signed up here after lurking for like, 4 years now?
I recently started playing DMO. It's shit, with all the flaws of MMORPGs and then being worse with uninteresting quests.
